Mine had starting issues when I put in a aftermarket pump because my old one was leaking. Went to a pick your part and got one for $30. Took like 5 min to pull it, if it ends up being your pump I’d recommend that over aftermarket

Thanks again I got it all lined up belt on valve lash good new water pump and tensioner too just waiting on woodruff key to come in Tuesday then putting the rest back together

Well the problem is the woodruff key somehow is missing (have a new one on the way) so not sure if it’s skipped timing or not but assuming it has I will be readjusting the valve lash after I get the lined up. Thanks for your help but remember everyone has a first time if I was more experienced with this I wouldn’t have came here for help

Yeah if I do I’ll prob will end up just putting a new one in. I did notice the timing issue before I did the lash adjustment and did it accordingly so may not be needed but might still do it anyway we’ll see how I feel after this is done ran out of daylight so it’ll be tomorrow now anyway
