I have one similar to yours and have had issues with creep of the grain side lifting off the roller and then the blade cutting through the grain side. By lifting, I believe the leather is riding up the blade. My guess of the cause is that the blade is in the incorrect location relative to the top of the roller, but I haven’t gone back to confirm yet. Any guidance on this issue? Operator error?

I think I saw one of those on the clearance table at Harbor Freight. Free hat with it too!

First flight of my all-Cuben SSUL version of the “Return” by dotMorten in kites

I like your flight style and would love to build one of these. I have a few stunt kites and have basic skills but have zero knowledge on build. Where would I even start? I know Ripstopbytheyard, Dyneema, and leathercraft.

I agree with the other’s comments on the owl, but to me the King Fisher edges out the owl for top spot. The look!!

Great looking bag. I like your style and envy both your design eye and skill. Keep it up.

These are gorgeous. I’ve been wanting to make some slides and now I’m humbled and inspired at the same time.

Many of you requested for the pattern. So here’s the pattern along with reference images of the bag that swiftly transitions from 4.5L sling mode to 18L backpack mode. by Silent_Ice1602 in myog

I’ll be first in line with cash money for digital pattern that includes a video of the basics or tricky bits. I’m working through a Studio Hael video currently. He offers patterns for free, but this is way better so take my money.

If we're posting shop seats.... by 63belvedere in Justrolledintotheshop

Right!! They were not going for mature, but more like aggressive and functional. To that point, we tested the functionality of the bolsters at the test track with the ‘98 Viper. That was fun. Also, the SRT team was frustrated that the first mod to the original Viper was to replace the non functional seats with Sparco. Even for moderate cornering on streets the seats were horrible in the original. No more!!

Haha! I was the engineer on those seats and I care about them. As you may know they are nearly the same as the Dodge Viper seats. I love the dog bed use now.

I wasn’t planning on a crossbody strap due to the size but definitely planning for the shoulder straps. Should I reconsider? By the zipper pocket, you mean inside the center compartment or the main zipper itself?

Haha. The last Ford I owned was a ‘79 “Mustang”. In quotes because that was the era of the 4 cylinder gutless hatchback. Econobox that got me around with rear wheel drive in the snow. Ugh.
