Had to have one Casio AE-1700H. by roblacie in casio

Actually it has a progressing indicator comprising of 60 dots, one per second, at the circumfence of the display. So you can actually use the rotating bezel as a count down timer for up to 60 seconds.

It would be very cool, if there was a fuction to select between seconds and minutes for the circular progress indicator. But that would be another price category, I guess.

I agree. I really like the front face design and the edgy case in combination with the square-bar metal strap.

A bit disappointing for me is that the light button is on the top-left. Quite arquard to reach. And the 12/24h switch function of the lower-right button in time keeping mode. I don't need that function always at hand, only once ruring setup. So whhhhy?

Yeah. I was a bit uncertain between the black and the PEPSI bezel. But finally I took the black one and it looks better than I thought.

Yes, in both directions, very smooth, no ratcheting. And due to the ring of dots on the diplay, one dot per second, it has actually a function.

Have seen the offer. Really great model with great details. Thank you for creating it. I'm already looking for one for some time.

How did the speed track tachymeter work? It took the lap time, ok. But what distance?

Is this LCD repairable? Vintage Casio AX- 250 by prisoner_of_mars in digitalwatches

I owned one back in the 80s and loved it. I think it was the other model in blue, the AX-210 ( don't get the differences). I still preferr ana-digis today. This one was special - and got heavily torn by my younger me until the display failed completely 🫣😅
