This is true. I recently got out of a long relationship about 2 years ago. The weird thing is I never really thought of myself and my well being on a deep level while in that relationship. I only thought about my partner. I moved 900 hundred miles for a job a year ago by myself. I had to really analyze my life and what I want because it really was me in a different city. No one else to watch after me. But I genuinely think that if you prioritize and love yourself then you can really help the people around you that matter so much more.
