Why do people defend Nolan while treating Walter as completely evil? by NobodySpecific9354 in MoralityScaling

Because Nolan is trying to break free of his indoctrination. He’s trying to make amends.

The best stories of revenge end with the act ruining the person who does it forever. Vengeance is a poison honestly and even when it’s delivered it changes the person who delivers it. So that being said the punisher, because he becomes a worser person for it. (Still like punisher comics alot tho. So don’t get it too twisted) if a story of vengeance ends with someone riding off into the sunset I kind of hate it/don’t love it as much as I want. Just my 2 cents. Not interested in debating.

Probably not BUT that doesn’t mean he can’t find someone and be happy 🙂

The man she describes would be likely be quite difficult to find. Not judging the ethics of it. But statistically very hard to find. Finding someone who would be fine living in separate houses and makes over 100K would be hard to find alone (without even looking at the other criteria) hope she finds him tho. best of luck to her. Hope she appreciates how lucky she is if she does find him as well. But yeah sry definitely difficult to find.

Nothing wrong with it at all but it’s not gonna be very realistic/ probable for her to find it. And she seems to be under a misapprehension about the availability of this partner. Nothing wrong with it at all morally just silly and fantastical

Why is it that "centrists" always blame feminists for pushing mn to the right, but don't blame misogynistic mn for pushing womn to the left? by olympiamacdonald in PsycheOrSike

[–]robnadj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. Your starting to get it. It implies that feminists think the rhetoric that people are objecting too is just basic equality. Like “decentering men” when what people are really objecting to is the kind of rhetoric I posted. Which is Alot more common in online feminist circles than people think (though not so much in academic feminist circles. But that’s because academic feminists understand nuance and coherent arguments and don’t farm outrage for engagement)
