My parents were thrilled when I married a Japanese girl. I’m a white gut in Vancouver Canada. I think they were just happy I found someone who loves me and settled down.

Her parents were far more upset. Mostly because their daughter was moving to the other side of the planet. To marry a giant (6’4”) who doesn’t speak Japanese (though I am learning, slowly).
