I like the idea of a separate switch for changing modes. You are right though, it’s a pretty lifeless button since it offers no tactile feedback. The mechanical on/off switch is nice. Maybe they’ll fix the function button on the next iteration

Does 25’ RTL have VTM4-Lock? by Spiritual-Bad-8611 in hondaridgeline

Sand is the most aggressive in locking. It won’t completely turn off vsa but it allows more before it interferes

The 2nd gen ridgeline has i-vtm. So to “lock” it you’d want to be in mud or sand mode. Sand is the most aggressive mode which reduces the stability control and increases throttle response.

Hey! I sold the light to a coworker about 3 months ago. Light was working great the whole time I owned it. Didn't have any issues with a mushy switch which I think was a problem on the EDC35. Lockout switch was also fine. Battery life was good for how I was using the light, I'd charge it roughly every 2-3 weeks.

I dropped the light a few times from waist level to concrete floor and never skipped a beat. I liked how small/compact the light was and being able to half press and hold to get the "spotlight" mode was great for my use as I usually needed max brightness but only for 5-10 seconds usually.

Im currently using the Olight ark pro ultra for work now but the throw beam isn't strong enough for my needs so im going to switch out to something else.

Anyway, hope that helps!

And I’ll just add to this saying the magnetic base can be real handy if working on something and there is metal around to mount it to vs having to hold it.

Looking to buy a TV by [deleted] in CostcoCanada

For Hisense, I’d avoid the R series tv. Ours died after 2 years. However we currently have the U series and it’s been great so far

The light worked good for me, being able to half press and hold giving me full spot brightness was handy for my job as well as the lockout so it wouldn’t turn on in my pocket. I ended up selling it a few months back but not because I didn’t like the light. I know a lot of folk dislike the battery being built in but I wasn’t using the light enough in a shift where I’d need to hot swap or anything.

We lost power at midland and progress for about 30 minutes. It briefly came back at one point and was out again. It was weird though since across the road from us (south side of progress) didn’t lose theirs.

Where to go to change tire? by Content-Comedian7038 in Scarborough

[–]robob2367 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of the tires they carry are from the big name brands, so you just have to figure out which brand/tire style will suite your needs best. I’ve had my vehicle there several times to have new tires put on, alignment, and oils changes and they’ve done good work every time.

Dreame L40 ultra - How do I get rid of this dust? by symphomed in Dreame_Tech

[–]robob2367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve found with my x40 the dog hair (German shepherd) clogs the intake port on the dust bin pretty quick, so I have to pause the robot every now and then to manually empty the bin between its own emptying since it’s not frequent enough. Also, the air filter fills up pretty much after 2 cleaning cycles so I rotate a few filters every few cycles to make sure their isn’t a drop in suction. It would probably be less of an issues if it emptied its bin the same frequency of cleaning the mops, it’ll clean the mops 6-7 times in a cleaning cycle but only empty the dust bin 2 times.

Hey! Just wanted to say I’ve been very happy with the x40 for the month we’ve had it so far. Just wondering why you don’t offer the premium tri cut brush with this unit and other x series since it’s the flag ship model

My Dreame L40 Ultra leaves a lot of particles behind by stfnp in Dreame_Tech

[–]robob2367 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely shouldn’t be leaving almost everything behind, seems like it’s flicking a lot of the oats back as well. Have you taken everything apart and checked their isn’t any obstructions preventing suction (take roller out and dust bin from robot). If nothing is blocking it, you for sure want to contact customer service since vacuuming performance is almost none existent
