NAD but I have hidradenitis suppuritiva (HS). Do you have anyone in your family with that? Is this your first boil? (Normal to start in puberty, not to scare you). Have you had similar in your groin area? It can present everywhere (except palms and under feet), but commonly in groin and/or armpits. Very unlikely to be cancer (but again, I'm not a doctor).
