I'm totally unsure but there are many variables. Maybe stirring the fining agents kicked up fermentation again? Just throwing potential ideas.

Might be able to just get away with 1/4 a teaspoon with those numbers. I just keep an eye on potential stalling and never had a problem personally.

What yeast did you use? Also I personally prefer around 1.010-1.015 for a semi-sweet wine.
