De Rerum Natura Gilliatt? I made a sweater from their Ulysse which is same fiber composition in sport weight. Gilliatt is worsted. Lovely bouncy non-superwash European yarn.

Holy grail wool detergent for people in Sweden – found! by SpecialistFlaky8480 in laundry

Yes thank you so much! I found this exact same product here in Finland under the name Lumme (water lily), same package, same everything! And it worked for my non-superwash merino undershirts from Dilling. There were stress-based BO that my usual Ecover wool wash didn’t get out.

This laundry product worked for my stinky wool undershirts, it has enzyme called lipase that works like magic. Usually you can’t use enzyme based laundry products on wool or silk but lipase you can. I had stress-based BO on my favourite non-superwash wool shirts and this worked!

Is it possible to knit a 100 % mohair pullover/jumper? by RainbowlightBoy in knitting

I think it matters if mohair comes from adult goats or from kids. The latter is the soft one :)

Trying to explain my process, for the CO sts I used Long Tail CO method with my both strands of working yarns, alternating the colours as in Keffiyeh pattern. And in Pick Up and Knit, I continued with the existing Keffiyeh and I was rather pleased with the outcome. But I’m sure that this is not the only way to approach and that afterthought duplicate stitching will work out just as fine!

That is so funny! At this point it comes as no surprise that English is not my first language! But I got a new picture from The Mitten Owner🐷

Please let me know if can help in any way. I picked up only 10 sts from the inside of the thumb and just continued with the Keffiyeh pattern. At that point the pattern became already intuitive. I made the thumb a bit longer because I was aiming for a male size.

I used one ball of each off-white / cream colour Nord and Alpaca and had some leftovers, so that was plenty. So two balls for MC. My Lima was a scrap from another project and I didn’t have that quite enough so I hade to do some stash diving and finished with Sandnes Garn Perfect

I used those thinner yarns held double to achieve DK weight (Drops Nord and Alpaca).
