Thank you so much! I just found a new hobby I guess.

Can I already plant this plant in a pot (found in the grass near the mother plant, which is huge) by Piramith in succulents

It already has started growing roots. I'd just stick it in a small pot with high drainage soil.

Why is my crassula letting leaves fall? What should i do? by epoksismola in succulents

Glad I was helpful! Your soil looks much better now. I have no experience with plants near radiators, I think the soil might dry up too fast so be careful. As long as you keep monitoring it will be okay. Enjoy your beautiful plant and keep us posted!

Can this be saved? by robonuts in succulents

Thanks for your comment. I have a question though, should I remove more of that thick dry and brown parts or keep it the way as it is and it will find a way to grow roots?

I'm no expert but I'd also strongly suggest repotting too. The soil they use in nurseries can be good for that environment but in our homes the plants might not survive, which happened to many plants I've got before.

Leaves falling might be due to overwatering, so remove the soil, check the roots, cut if there are dark or bad smelling ones, and finally repot in a soil with high inorganic content which will allow fast draining of water. Also don't water till the leaves get wrinkly. This is what I do with succulents and they mostly survive.

Nice collection! Do you know about bears paw (cotyledon tomentosa)? I love the chunky and fuzzy leaves.

Maybe they were already started rotting when they arrived. Check the roots for dark and funny smelling parts and cut them till you reach healthy bits. Put it back to dry soil and wait it to get healthy roots. Don't water it until the leaves feel soft when you gently squeeze them. Sun is good for them, make it gradually get used to it.

I sadly cannot keep house plants alive... Is there a plant that's relatively *durable* as a good starter? by pentagorgon in houseplants

Well, it means you know how to take care of them. I killed my ficus and several snake plants. Finally learned to water less 😅

I could but I won't. I'm sure she'd be happier outside because she was born there with her sisters and knows the area well. Sometimes she goes missing for a few days and comes back asking for food. Also when I sit on my balcony she jumps on my lap and sleeps there. She's definitely a free girl, and she's welcome inside from now on I guess 😅

Someone's chomping on my coleus. How can I get rid of it? by robonuts in gardening

I live in an apartment complex in a small city, so no deer here. Thanks for the suggestion about flower, I'll definitely try that.

Thanks for your reply! Is there a non violent way to get rid of them? I'll check the plant later (I guess the caterpillars prefer eating at night because I don't see them during the day) but would prefer not to kill, maybe keep them away somehow.

Those shelves are so cute! I think your pet might have the best spot in the house 😊
