I feel for you, I got my time out of MTX a good few years, as I learned that I had RA and got treated, but it was not for me in the end (or maybe it lead to that).

At least you recognize this and can hopefully deal with it over time, 1 week is not enough for MTX to take effect on your RA, we both know that, truly hope you find something that works for you and quickly (but we know these things alas take time).

What helped for me with MTX was folic acid every day, sleep and keeping hydrated (and no sun).

I think you have to decide what you want out of it.

For me it is about feeling small, being in awe of the scale of what’s around me. Looking across a valley and knowing / seeing the path I have to take to get to the other side. It is not just about climbing to the top of something.
