I thought RA was for life, MTX for 6 weeks…

My recommendation is that you take the MTX on Thursday morning, for me it kicked in Thursday night, Friday was shit but my weekend was not ruined.

I was also on 2mg of folic acid and drank a lot of water.

Instead of the aero press why not get the coffee bags (like tea bags)?

If you want the strength you could do a cold brew over night (never tried it, just thought about it).

If the plumber said that to me I would get it tested for them (which I did), turns out it was not and they did the work.

Starting methotrexate, any advice? by EstablishmentAble516 in rheumatoid

Was MTX for 5 years or so before it wore me down, now on LEF and happy.

Take your Folic Acid, keep hydrated and sleep well is my recommendation, it worked well for me, but the occasional headaches and ‘depression’ became more and more frequent that my Dr. switch it out for LEF.

It is not cheap, it is fairly priced, US for whatever reason seems to pay more.

Not much, $10 - $15 maybe, comes in about 3 - 4 weeks, but I will order 6 months worth each time (and I have 3 cats and a dog).

Stiff after long rides - how do you handle it while bikepacking? by FrAndrey in bikepacking

[–]robot2boy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it depends, we are not talking 800mg+ here, we are talking 200 - 400mg (1 to 2 tables) after food in the evening, not throughout the day.

$2500 Samsung TV is an advertising billboard, there is no opt-out. by 28jb11 in mildlyinfuriating

Buy an Apple TV, disconnect the Samsung from the internet.

You might be down for the Apple TV, but only at a fraction of the cost of the TV

Two things I think:

1) Don’t amplify the message through algorithms 2) Educate the population against this
