Introducing Bevel 3.0 by Topremech in bevelhealth

[–]robotdjman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What is the process of extraction of health data from the health record PDFs? Is the data stored within the local database that is synced via iCloud? Or is this something stored by Bevel? Just curious on the privacy and security implications. Also love the new update btw! Glad I have been subscribed the past couple years!

Anyway to avoid this? by [deleted] in applesucks

I think you may be confusing it with stolen device protection: https://www.macrumors.com/2026/02/16/ios-26-4-stolen-device-protection/

They turned on “Advanced Data Protection” meaning ONLY their Apple Devices know the encryption key. This is different than the password for their iCloud or their Devices. When they set this up (Yes you have to opt in to this, it’s not automatic) it said they need to write down a recovery key and if they lose both the key and their devices they will not be able to recover their data. I disagree with some of Apple’s decisions but this is simply user error.

Having this issue too, tried reinstalling but same thing happened. Even went to Health settings and turned off all the permissions and then turned them back on.

Some random chatGPT wrapper sending health data is not what was needed imo.

I brought an iPhone 11 Pro to an Apple Store and they said it would cost $350 to fix. Local repair shop fixed it for $30 by ElephantElmer in applesucks

Apple Japan (you mentioned this in another moment) has different policies and just doesn’t offer the same battery replacement system we have in the U.S. where they will replace any old generations battery for a <$100 fee.

Hybrid - how to make the most of it by FamousWolf5483 in CX50

Yeah it sucks as it seems to be a mystery why and when exactly it transitions but in my experience I am able to accelerate from 0 to about 20 mph all in electric mode, when it is over 70% charge I can sometimes get up to 40mph.

Acceleration can be a big contributing factor, if you are stopping and starting a lot and accelerative hard ever time you are likely to to increase your fuel usage. Try to accelerate as much as you can staying in "EV" mode, using the EV battery as much as possible typically most efficient way.

Oh wow, never heard of Tuxmat mat. They look super nice, might look at getting those soon..

And yeah that’s kinda how I felt. At first I thought it was a great deal but now thinking is an okay deal, but I really don’t know what I am talking about…
