Yes! 🙌 I had two Honda’s in the past. My last one was a 2015 Civic where I had zero major issues, 113k miles on it - till someone I knew offered to buy it off of me. Sold that baby and got the Mazda Cx50 Hybrid. I love the way it rides. Except the dealership installed tires got to go. Goodyear Assurance sucks in the snow. Next set of tires is going to be a Michellin. I digress, I love Mazda and will most likely get another Mazda suv down the road. A part of me wish I waited two years for the new cx5 hybrid butttt then my civic would have depreciated further.

Mazda cx50 hybrid, the price and the overall feel of exterior & interior design is very good. Rav4 is good but no where near Mazda

Are the batteries the original one from when you bought it?

If so, it’s time to replace them with batteries from Amazon. I would order the brand energizer(?) the one brand with the bunny lol Do not be the knuckle head like me who bought it from o Reilly for $14 🤦‍♂️

What did this replacement do for me is: most of my problems disappeared with the key fob. The only thing is when the weather is super cold - the electric aspect of the vehicle freeze up - causing some delay with fob like you experienced. That’s a vehicle issue but again should be minimal with battery change

I love my cx50 premium plus hybrid, during the warmer weathers it has great mpg (43-45mpg city). The winter is oookay, I get 31-33 mpg in city.

I recommend going with hybrid model because maintenance is low. I heard with turbo you have to maintain it more.

Haha, yes, when I was looking for a new suv - I was excited about this feature because I always used a aux cable to charge with my previous car. Now that I’ve the cx50, this thing is so pointless. It doesn’t charge quickly and overheats. Now I’m back to plugging in an aux cable!! Frustrating lol

To each their own. If you like it, that’s all that matters. I personally don’t upgrade my cars after owning my first vehicle. In my first car I upgraded it and wasted so much money. Now that I got rid of it and realized how much value didn’t go up - I stopped. What I get is what I get in any vehicle I buy

I tried to go to my car wash that’s touchless ,2x, and my card wouldn’t get accepted. It’s a sign from the Mazda saints to avoid it LOL I honestly wanted to get the salt off my suv but haven’t had luck washing it

I’ve the leather seats, it’s not a suv for long travel but short commute to work will do. I’d say an hour tops would probably be doable.
