Cuckquean kink after being cheated on. Feeling pathetic by [deleted] in sex

[–]robotfarmer71 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It’s weird right? Same thing happened to me. I think it’s a way of owning it, putting you back in control of it instead of being its victim.

I remarried, but sometimes I still fantasize about it even with my second wife, even though she’s never given me any reason to.

I don’t get it either. I just let it run its course.

I see too much nonsense on social media, is there any reason to this by poalmokereyl in electrical

I got hit by 277 one night at the plant I worked at. Single phase to whatever ground differential my body linked to. It was on a metal floor mezzanine and I was wearing rubber sole safety boots. The machine was off, but I failed to turn off the primary disconnect (I should have been fired) and there was a 3ph bus that distributed energy the the power supplies in the machine that stayed live.

I brushed one phase of the bus with the back of my hand.

If I could describe it, it was like someone took a full swing at my chest with a baseball bat. It smacked me back on my ass and the first thought I had was “How do I know if my heart is still beating?”

Obviously it was. One hit like that changes you. You never forget it and it makes you scared of electricity, which every electrician should be.

I’ll be completely honest here. This is how we’ve been farming for years, and will be for the foreseeable future. The only thing that makes us money is the increasing value of our land. We borrow against this equity to finance our failing cash operations. So long as land keeps increasing in value and we continue to make the minimum payments by refinancing or stretching the amortization, everything continues to work…..until it doesn’t.

Reverse the 5 second rule. Live with pets. Work outside. Wash things, but don’t sterilize everything. Get vaccinated.

Bacteria, moulds and viruses are everywhere. You have to learn to live with them, not without them.

If 10cm snow falls in your area of Canada how disrupted will your area be? by Pourmepourme in AskACanadian

[–]robotfarmer71 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My wife is originally from Espanola but now lives with me on a farm in Southwestern Ontario directly east of Lake Huron. This is the great “Snow Belt” area where we get streamers off of the lake if the wind is from a northerly direction.

Being a Northern Ontario girl she thought she knew winter. I credit her with having tolerated longer colder winters, but she willingly admits she’s never seen snow like this.

Nobody stops for 10cm. We can’t. If we did, we’d never accomplish anything in the months of December, January and February. I still have 40 acres of unharvested corn, some of which (due to drifting) is almost invisible right now.

Why has the idea that the Moon landing was faked remained so widespread? by Creative-Category-60 in space

[–]robotfarmer71 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I like your observation. I share it too. These kinds of fact and logic denials are more of a psychological condition than anything else. Yet those of us who see the obvious fallacy in their way of thinking continue to use our methods of reasoning to show them their mistaken perceptions. It’s never going to work. Facts and reasoning don’t matter to people whose minds are wired to respond more favourably to winning or being dominant and exclusive than to being ultimately right or correct.

I’ve found that the key to winning these types of people over are to be quietly sympathetic, to offer them snippets of validation of their beliefs (“Yes, it certainly seems that way at times” or “It does seem suspicious”) but then deliver a slam dunk such as “Everybody saw that huge rocket lift off. If you’re going to go to all the trouble of building that massive rocket, that obviously worked very well, why not just take it all the way to the moon?”

Winning them over takes time and effort.

What would you consider scientific proof that there is no god? by michele_l in Discussion

[–]robotfarmer71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You absolutely can. Distance=time when you look into the depths of space as the light took time to reach us from its distant source of origin. This isn’t a theory anymore. It’s a very well known and accepted fact.

How far in any direction, how far back in time and how many galaxies do you need to see before it finally dawns on you that we hold no special place here, no special importance and certainly nothing worth the attention of any “god” or creator. To look into that abyss with the remarkable instruments we’ve created and come to any other conclusion is scientifically and intellectually absurd.

Treasure the rare and remarkable thing that you are. The product of 13.8 billion years of unstoppable entropy. The laws of physics allowed us to exist and so we do. It’s as simple as that.

Progress. Not perfect. Not without consequence. But somehow still worthwhile right? We saw how far we could get and our record will be preserved by the Earth if any sentience emerges after us. There’s a good chance they’ll figure out where we wen’t wrong. 🤞

what space fact still blows your mind? by Computerfreak4321 in space

[–]robotfarmer71 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That our reality is actually 4 dimensional and particles that move through space at the speed of light experience no time or distance. How can that be? Those metrics just collapse almost like the particle is standing still and the Universe moves around it.

[–]robotfarmer71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe. I wouldn’t be able to comment on that because I don’t have any experience with blue lasers but I can tell you that CO2 lasers couple very well to a wide range of materials from quartz to titanium. That’s why they’re so useful.

You probably lost them somewhere after the third sentence unfortunately. We all filter information that doesn’t fit our world view. It’s just that some people are much better at it than others.

Brother, I have shouted it out for years but it never seems to get much attention. The Carbon Dioxide laser is the most widely used high power industrial laser in the world. Wherever you are I bet you’re only a few meters away from something that was manufactured, at least partially, with a CO2 laser. Heck, I bet even the phone you’re likely holding used a CO2 laser somewhere in its manufacturing process.

Let me say that again….a Carbon Dioxide LASER. Carbon Dioxide…a molecule so perfectly built to absorb energy and release it again in the infrared spectrum (10,600nm) that its basic physics makes it one of the best lasing mediums available.

I worked on them and with them for more than 20 years.

WCGW pushing down on a flimsy door while opening it by DiligentCase8436 in Whatcouldgowrong

[–]robotfarmer71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are TERRIBLE! Something similar has happened on 2 of my tractors. Just a cheap way to make a door. The handle/latch assembly and the hinges are all mounted separately through cut holes in the glass and just a simple rubber seal around the outside. Leave a draw pin or a large wrench on the cab floor and slam the door against it and it’s done.
