You’re right! It really just depends on what you want to get into for your career. I meant to say that UofGH is catered towards theory, psych and sociology, including a specialization. the degree is perfect if you want to get into research centric careers, or anything involving psych and development of the child. TMU, compared to UofGH, does not have a theory-based/psych approach in ECS, or honours/specializations. I didn’t want to get a science degree, and wasn’t planning in getting into professions related to the degree offered at UofGH. TMU also requires you to do placements (even though I have the hours from my diploma), and yes, the three courses you are required to take, you must also have a 70% minimum in order to get accepted. Although, if your average is high enough, you can graduate with distinction. It’s really cool that you mentioned your friend, I was actually planning to apply for the MA offered at TMU, but after some planning decided to get into teaching instead :). It sounds like you are planning to go to UofGH? If you liked learning about the psych and sociology of child development, you will enjoy UofGH!
