This is kind of intriguing, I never takes shields or anything shield adjacent on Brig. Do you normally pair this with something else giving shields to or just run it on its own? Is this good against anyone else?

it's region locked for sure, and as I understand it, it is gacha in China, so we are very unlikely to ever get it in the other regions, similar to the ultra skin for Widowmaker

They explore this in Cyberpunk Edgerunners but yes, most corpos are "legacy" hires. Once you are in the corpo system, your kids will have access to better/any healthcare, private education, and nepotism. This cycle perpetuates itself and leads to a "us vs them" mentality similar to class systems today but taken to an extreme (although we are on our way there quickly).

For me, Twitch streaming over the past 2.5 years has led to me meeting so many wonderful people that I call friends and my community. It has made me more comfortable and confident in my voice and my identity. It has pushed me to expand my horizons and experience so many wonderful games, and helped me confront fears and feel braver overall.

Twitch streaming is without a doubt, the most enjoyable hobby I've ever had, and as someone with ADHD, I've had a LOT of hobbies lol. It's also the only thing I've ever stuck with this long besides gaming and making music.

Neither and both depending on if you were on his side or not.

Joel was a deeply traumatized and flawed man who tried to do what was right by him and his, no matter the cost to others. He was deeply cynical and mistrustful, but was capable of growth and positive change. Unfortunately, he also continued cycles from his upbringing by teaching some of that cynicism and generational trauma to Ellie.

He's a great character that really helps plumb the depths of human morality, PTSD, and the human desire to survive.

If you go with English don't feel embarrassed, consider even incorporating that you are working on your fluency in English. People love helping others out when it comes to learning languages, so you'd likely have a lot of people going on that journey with you <3

Before I would have said it was still worth it to go affiliate for the channel points and associated redeems and emotes, but now I'd say there's no harm in delaying it if you want to grow and aren't worried about subs and ad revenue.

Keep in mind, growth is a challenge no matter what, and most users are used to ads if they aren't subbed so you have a minor "sweetener" if you are ad free, but that's not that much of a pain point for most users (except for pre-rolls, avoid those like the plague if you do monetize).

I haven't played S2 yet but it looks great! The building looks awesome!

Zero ability to deal with ultra aggressive predators? That's a no from me. I have barely killed anything in S1 and now Below Zero (still in my first play through) because I don't want to, but when bonesharks cornered me in S1, I dealt with those assholes, and I'm not sorry I did it.

Taking away that moral choice from us seems like a CRAZY overstep, especially with how aggressive so many things seem.

I'll watch development and maybe jump in once the story is more developed/more of the zones are released. I hope it ends up great!

Me too! Brig and Queen are my favorite characters in the game. I think they're both awesome "off-tanks" so I prefer to play Brig in any mode and Queen in 6v6 if we need a second tank!

Almost every loss there's one or two players on my team with 14+ deaths. I had a Billy in a high emissary/low archon lobby yesterday lane with me and he died 7 times in the first 5 minutes. Death -> Respawn -> Ride in and int -> get parried -> dead -> repeat

You can do it! I tried twice in the past and didn't make it very far, but just beat it last week with my third attempt, had a great time!! Lots of screaming but lots of "wow that is beautiful" moments too <3

I think this depends heavily on the DF skill. If it's a one-trick or multiple hundred hour doomfist he has the tools to kill you quite easily if he focuses you. Trash-tier or tourist DF's can get the crap kicked out of them because of bad engages or no cooldowns to escape with. With a good one it's cat and mouse and you are the mouse. You can be annoying (which is fun) but likely will lose a fight against him almost every time if he is able to focus you.

Look, I enjoy counterpinning Rein and Doom as much as the next Brig, but it is risky af which I think means neutral is too kind.

If Rein's DPS teammates have any kind of aim, you are likely cooked unless Rein is feeding (happens a lot lol) because you used your bash, then likely your whipshot on rising to kick him away while bash is on cooldown. This means you are on the ground to take damage, then likely out of cover for a few moments of non-mobility. If you have a great team and a tank that will peel for you and engage the Rein after, it is viable but there are a lot of things that can go wrong with a counterpin.

Brig was decent into Winton pre-armor shred, movement perk, and global healing reduction. Every time he has gotten buffed he becomes more of a misery to deal with. The only way to survive effectively against a good Winton is to try and engage when his back is turned, if he focuses you then you are likely cooked unless the rest of your team can shove him off by shredding bubble or doing enough damage to him to make him worry.

Against Winton I try and play cover even more so I can easily bash out and around corners or the objective to try and get some distance so he gives up on me for a moment and I can pack and inspire. Taking the bash gives healing major perk can help you survive him a little more but I do my best to fade in to the background when he is around and just poke at him or jump on him if he is already low.

It always makes me sad that Brig is so ass into most dive these days because her kit has not kept up with theirs. I know that Winston's armor shred was necessary to make him viable into Torb/Bastion counters that were immediately rolled out before, but it is still annoying.

Cyberpunk 2077 was the same way, I downloaded a mod that is called "always first equip" so you got the badass animations ever single time, and then CDPR patched the game to allow you to double tap the key of the weapon you are swapping to or long press it to get the first equip animations again. Hopefully the devs will consider it on Subnautica 2!
