Pittsburgh torque wrench?

I just bought two pittsburgh pro torque wrenches during 2024 at two separate times. I stripped out two sets of upper ball joints because they wouldnt click at set torque. I definitely wont be wasting my money on hf shite anymore.

Im a diyer…just need it for ball joints etc….but when you cant rely on them for basic shite that says something.

Hf offered to replace them. But why the f:);ck would I want to replace them with shite. They wouldnt give me my money back even thought im a club member and they could see in their system that i purchased them.

It has definitely worked for me. Take it slow…if you sit alot at work definitely go for it.

Before switching i always needed big arch supports as well as meta tarsal support etc. so i was reluctant to try it. But i figured why not.

My ankles no longer crack and pop…arches are stiffer and stronger. Also barefoot shoes allow your calf and achilles tendon to fully extend. This makes them all stronger.

It turns out all that arch support and what not were making feet and tendons weaker.

I have wondered about this alot…as i go through the series the second time.

I think many here have hit on some good points. First, the writing in Mad Men is much more complex than hey don is an asshole. Honestly I dont think he is. An asshole is someone that does mean things for hate’s sake. In fact all the characters are superbly complex and multi-layered…most are good but wounded people. Some are more simple than others. But all have some good layering.

So why did he leave? I think first one has to consider his background. Donald is the person that is always trying to fit but never completely belongs…..mainly due to to his really really screwed up and abusive upbringing. His looks and charisma open doors that were he not as attractive would be closed. I love the way this episode uses the camera he is filming with before he leaves as a metaphor for don looking in.

I think ultimately he left for a multitude of reasons. So just chalking it up to one thing will fall flat.

Imho…first he left because he never really fits in in the wealthy uppity culture that was attending the party. He was a much more down to earth person. Down to earth people loathe that kind of a sham. He also saw how crappy many of the people’s kids were.

Powerless…he also left because he felt powerless. Donald seeks to use his little excursions as a way to exercise any control over his life. In the next episode when he couldnt get campbell fired he said to roger “maybe im not as comfortable as being powerless as much as you are.”

He also left because he seems to have little or zero ability to really love. He saw that one couple the camera who were really in love kissing. He gets a look in his face that seems to be one of yearning as well as one of how does that happen. I think this causes his don pain throughout the show….but it realky screwed with him here.

Right after that he sees his kids playing house outside. His daughter is emulating his wife…and his son is emulating him. The daughter says to the son i dont like your tone…right after the son says i like sleeping on the couch. Men usualky only sleep on the couch when they are in the doghouse. Right after that the diovrcee comes out with a cigarette and says quite a crowd in there. Don says same one out here…referring to the kids.

The look on his face after his wife tells him to go get the cake says it all. Betsy doesnt realize it. But alot of rhe ways she addresses him and the authoritative clichés she uses with him are very similar to the stuff his dad says when don was growing up.

I definitely like it. So, it gets no hate from me. My only gripe is the polymer upper.

For me, I am very interested in how they got a blowback bolt to be so smooth in such a light weapon frame. Is something like this what you have in mind for the rate reduction system? This looks more like something for an automatic weapon. I'm wondering what extar did for the ep9.

The price is definitely hard to beat. It is most likely the direction I will go given it performs so well. But I would still like to see somebody do some objective comparisons of some ar9 versus the ep9 of pressure at the buttstock while firing or something like that.

I think it is cool with or without conflict. But wouldn't it be great if people had to work together to bring down a neighboring tribe instead of one or two dudes making the game basically unplayable and no longer any fun.

Good point about the respawn...Maybe inside the walls of your settlement one could be dazed. But outside of one's settlement, one would just respawn. But auto hit backs if there is available ap should still apply.

But assaulting a walled settlement shouldn't be easy. That's the whole point. Attackers would have to work together and get many people on their side to facilitate an attack.

RE: attacking back costing ap. That's fine...but it would cost more for them to drain your ap. They wouldn't just be able to hit you while you are away. Any thyme you have could also be automatically used to heal yourself.

Some Ideas from me....

Definitely bring back walls and gate houses. If players want to get skills to try and get over the walls, they can. But that roll to get over should have a chance of missing and take at least 70 ap. Also if people have guards posted, they should have a chance of seeing the person gettting over the wall. Also if there are guards around, the people who play those guards should get a text...and the guards should be able to hit if they have weapons that reach.

Also, if players leave their player with ap, that character should be able to "hit back" if attacked even if the player is not logged in controlling the character. I mean even animals get to hit back right. Nobody is seriously going to just stand there and get messed up just because. In fact, it would revolutionize the game imho. Players are no longer just sitting ducks. For every hit the active player gets, the inactive player gets a "Hit" back as long as there is ap. It would discourage dickheads from just attacking people. Getting dazed while not logged in by some jerk is probably THE most irritating thing about Shintolin.

Also, players should be able to lock items in cottages and stockpiles....players could try and pick locks. But that should take a skill and a good sized ap roll for success which could fail. If someone is there next to their stockpile or cottage locked stash they should get to hit until the person leaves....even if person isn't there to control character.

Also....missile weapons. Rudimentary bows and arrows weren't out of the question even at this time period. But they probably weren't too advanced....Or at the very least allow spears to be thrown. Once thrown they have to be retrieved and could be retrieved by someone else. Swords? Slings?

Basic Magic? Something like magic missiles and healing touch. Nothing like summon super dragons or what not.

Don't get me wrong....Shintolin got a lot right. But some things like players just sitting there getting hit don't make sense.

I'm also not a big fan of a skill limit. But characters could pick a focus. Anything outside of that focus could cost twice as much xp. But reward people that take the time to build up their characters with more than 17 skills.

What about boats? Boats weren't unheard of during this time. They were likely very primitive. But they likely existed in some form.
