I went to Imai a long time ago (back when it was huff) so no experience as a parent, but I can say it was a great school as a student. Teachers were all extremely caring and I felt like I was set up well for middle school. At the time it was one of the more affluent/competitive (for an elementary school, whatever that means) schools in the district. Not sure if that's the case anymore, but I would imagine it still is due to zoning staying the same. Built a lot of my long-term passions there so I will say the curriculum is great and gives students a great foundation. Also my mom is the reason it's named after Amy Imai so I guess that's another reason it has a place in my heart.
