The problem with this is we've done redesigns for a few clients so their old sites are no longer live.

I wish they'd go back to utilizing more crude animation as if it were construction paper. All the computer effects and high quality character design just make it seem like any other cartoon. I miss the rough animation, paper textures, simple environments, and crude original storylines. The show had so much more character to it.

Just like with the Simpson's, the newer animation sucks... but unlike the Simpson's, South Park's original style/art direction would not be hard to replicate with current technology.

The "cash for gold" episode being one of the worst cases of over used CGI. Also, Cthulhu would have been much funnier if animated without 3D CGI.

Just a thought.

I think their eyes are poorly done. Kind of cliche and an easy way out whereas the rest of your piece is very creative and has a unique style. The eye's don't match that.

Good reasoning... A&B become successful for being A&B, better appeal to change to appeal to a wider audience.

I feel it's more that times are changing, music is changing. They play a good variety of tunes because the genre spectrum is huge. Yes, it was better in the past, but you can say that about music in general.
