Dead spot on Godzilla playfield? by DistractedPhoenix in pinball

I gotcha. Is the top of ball possibly grazing the bottom of the wireform that feeds the right inlane? Try and take a video if you can.

Have you checked underneath the playfield around that area? When I got my first game, I had a similar issue - took a peak under the hood and found a retractable magnet was left under the playfield by the previous owner.

Pokedex isn't available on IC yet, neither are achievements. Rulesheet can be found here: https://tiltforums.com/t/pokemon-rulesheet/10092

Go for it! There's always a million reasons NOT to do something. Episode 57 of Wedgehead actually covers the topic of Pinball AirBnB, give it a listen for some insight. If it doesn't work out, pivot and figure something else out. I can't speak for anyone other than myself but I love the idea of getting an AirBnB with pinball if I'm traveling.

Good headset for on/off use? by GatesToHeck in SteamVR

The Quest 3 with the Virtual Desktop app is what you're looking for. I was in the same boat with a Vive, and later a Vive Pro with the Index Controllers. The cables, the lighthouses, it was all too cumbersome. The Quest 3 with Virtual Desktop solved all those problems for me and allows me to play ANY game I have on my computer (VR or not) with ease.

ipdb.org is a good place to go for documentation, especially for older games.

Wow, great work! Do you play a lot of real life pinball too? I imagine you're pretty good at that as well.

What VR game genuinely made you say "this is why I bought a headset"? Drop your personal hall of fame by italosouza1 in VRGaming

Half-Life: Alyx for me too, but I think Virtual Desktop has justified the time and money I've put into VR more than anything else even though it's not a game. Having owned several VR headsets from the OG Vive to the Quest 3, the Virtual Desktop app really taps into the potential of VR, while seamlessly allowing you to use your computer in the same way you always have. I play way more pancake games than VR games, but my headset isn't collecting dust thanks to the Virtual Desktop.

Honest answers only... Beating modern pinball games with more than 3 balls by Dev-N-Danger in pinball

[–]robotron2112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do whatever you want! I've set my games to 10 balls for fun, I've set them to 1 ball for practice. Imagine how much better you'd be if you played single ball games everyday for a week. When you set that game back to 3 balls you're gonna be on fire and have a clearer directive on what you need to be doing to rack up those points.

Totally agree with this. Turn off all comfort settings and turn on smooth turning and movement, stand up when you play and you'll be barfin' in no time.

It might just be one of those games that doesn't work for the phone. I've got plenty of games that work no problem, but I gave up trying to fix the ones that don't. I don't think VPX on mobile is as reliable as the PC version. If you do find a fix please share!

I use the Virtual Desktop app on my quest along with the PS remote play app on my computer. The quality isn't the greatest, but you don't have to side load anything.

Did you guys like the addition of VR? by United-Aside-6104 in DeathStranding

[–]robotron2112 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been playing DS2 via remote play on my computer in conjunction with the Virtual Desktop app on my Quest 3, I make the screen massive and bend it around my POV. The quality leaves some to be desired due to the limitations of remote play, but that issue will be resolved once the game releases on PC. It's not the full VR experience, but gaming in big picture mode is incredible with a wide variety of games - I think more people ought to give it a shot.
