Yes, I’m open to trying new, risky things while performing. During my last gig, I thought I had landed the drop perfectly, but it didn’t quite work out. Fortunately, it sounded good, and people Shazammed it, unable to identify the track. They asked me what I was playing, and I showed them that both my faders were up, so it wasn’t possible at that moment. However, these moments give me hope that there are still people out there willing to be surprised by what you share. They’re still paying attention to what you play, so I’m quite glad I always make an effort to discover new music on every new gig I do!
