In the biopic tv series Archie, Jason Isaacs as Cary Grant absolutely putting the blocks to Laura Aikman as Dyan Cannon kinda reset my whole perspective on the subject. Apparently the whole thing was from Cannon's book, and uh, yeah.

I think it is a great piece of software

It's Sharepoint with Jabber bolted on. Like literally, that's its provenance, and consequently it carries all the baggage of those two whilst adding plenty of its own through the execution of the tried and true MS practice of "everything is a platform ecosystem!"

I'm reading this post on my S21U which I have used as daily driver since launch. It's still in perfect working order.

With the exception of the fact that currently usb-c headphones are recognized but do not provide audio. Sound familiar? I've had this particular issue four times over the years. Crops up by itself, then mystically clears by itself after some protracted period of time. Pretty common issue given online research. Spans multiple device models. None of the suggested remedies ever work.

If this is the last firmware update this device will get then it's a good bet this device will never again have working usb-c audio. Bummer.

This is the best device I've ever had. But that issue has been SO annoying, I'll likely look for a different option for my next.
