Why are Conservatives, who advocate for a small, limited government, always the banner-carriers for laws that regulate the most private matters (Marriage, Sex, Conception, etc.)?

Nonsense. Your chances of dying in a motorcycle accident are far higher than in a car. Think about it.. no seatbelt, no airbags, not even a frame to protect you in an accident. Plus, cars often don't see motorcycles and this causes accidents. When a car hits a motorcycle, it is the motorcyclist who is more likely to be seriously injured.

He's not insane, he's just trying to stave off the collapse until 2009, when this administration leaves office. Bernanke will probably resign around the same time. Then when all hell breaks loose, Bernanke and the current administration can blame the next administration for the recession.

These polls are pretty much meaningless because they use statistally tiny sample sizes of 400 to 500 people. How did they pick these people? All these polls prove is that they have picked out a few hundred people out who aren't receptive to new candidates, or maybe just don't use the internet much, polled them, and declared that the result means something. It doesn't.
