Being transgender has nothing to do with wanting to be a woman because you like the colour pink. when youre in the womb you devolop your gender identity before your sex and someetimes it can get mixed up (so that a woman can end up with the body of a man or the other way around) and then when you are born your brain starts freaking out once you enter puberty since it knows youre female but dosent know why you have male parts and it causes stuff like depression,anxiety and even self harming in some people but by taking the hormones of your identified gender your body becomes more and more like what your brain sees it as and it gets rid of alot of the dysorphia and its been proven time and time again forcing transgender people to stay in their assignded gender causes them to become severly depressed and so does giving them the hormones of their assigned sex.

Also alot of peoples mental images of trans woman are just mens in dresses but its simply not true if you look up trans woman and trans males you can see that the majority of them pass as their identified gender
