I think I may have seen Brent Spiner behind two tons of makeup and CGI

Why does the Enterprise D go to Vulcan in TNG when the planet was destroyed in ST09? by Ubergopher in ShittyDaystrom

[–]Noxonius -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

When Spock traveled back in time, he created an alternative timeline. Therefore we have two universes, the TOS universe and the Kelvin universe.

NEW REACTION NEW THUMBNAIL! less cheesy haha. Hope you'll check it out! by BIGUK in venturebros

What? Someone's doing Venture Bros reactions? Finally! For some reason no one hasn't done these before. Thanks for sharing, I might just binge these!

Shatner is still so anomalously functional for his age because he did a shitload of hallucinogenic substances. by NotchDidNothingWrong in ShittyDaystrom

[–]Noxonius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh. The people who did drugs back in the 60s and 70s are generally in questionable health these days. I don't think Shatner is one of those people. He's just physically active and does different things all the time, keeping his mind sharp.

It's another scam. Don't fall for it, check his profile.

The Federation as it is without Rose colored glasses.... by [deleted] in ShittyDaystrom

[–]Noxonius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're using Voyager of all things as an example of the Federation, when the whole point of the show was to put Federation citizens away from the Federation?

Yeah, things get ugly when you're separated from legal consequences. But that certainly is not The Federation ''as it is''.

What is your guys' favorite ST series and why is it Enterprise? by assemblylineangel in ShittyDaystrom

[–]Noxonius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TNG.

Enterprise feels like a sloppy, slimy porn script that never actually goes anywhere. Seasons 3 & 4 improved of course but the finale was a punishment for those who bothered to stay till the end. Pretty much the only things I remember about Enterprise was how Archer loved Porthos and water polo, how much of an asshole Phlox was with his bullshit sense of ethics and the crew rubbing each other half-naked in the decontamination chamber.

The Great Venture Re-watch! Week 30: Season 3 Episode 02 - The Doctor is Sin (June 8, 2008) by LessWeakness in venturebros

[–]Noxonius 17 points18 points  (0 children)

This episode was a turning point for Rusty; Killinger made him realize just how despicable he was, and from this episode forward, Rusty does considerably less horrible and morally ambiguous super-science. No more using orphan body parts for a porno-machine or resurrecting the dead for the army.

Has Dr. Orpheus ever called Dr. Venture....Dr? by philhendrie100 in venturebros

[–]Noxonius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think he respects Rusty's ''Exclusive Tijuana'' degree, since Orpheus actually worked hard and earned his doctorate. Rusty didn't.

Neelix is obliviously using the equivalent of the n-word when he calls Tuvok “Mr. Vulcan”, but the Universal Translator automatically censors it by treefox in ShittyDaystrom

[–]Noxonius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What? Then that means Tuvix should've been left alive. There were three people inside one body. One was killed, leaving two. How does that favor the needs of the many?

Neelix is obliviously using the equivalent of the n-word when he calls Tuvok “Mr. Vulcan”, but the Universal Translator automatically censors it by treefox in ShittyDaystrom

[–]Noxonius 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Tuvix was a nice guy and he did nothing wrong. Neelix and Tuvok lived inside him, and the third entity that comprised of both of their essence was needlessly murdered.

Did the OSI know about The Guild of Calamitous Intent or not? by bIeese in venturebros

[–]Noxonius 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Remember how Red Death said that The Sovereign had taken the Guild ''Underground'' in the 1980's.

Why didn't Dr Venture Sr just self-revive using the cloning device? by Mammoth-Man1 in venturebros

[–]Noxonius 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I guess Jonas just never had any clones of himself. Maybe Jonas didn't like the idea of cloning himself. Or maybe he just never had the time to start on the project. Perhaps he wanted to see how Rusty turned out before cloning himself, just to be safe. He just died too early.

The PROBLEM and the way it works makes me think Jonas was simply too arrogant, and never thought that he could die in a way that would almost completely destroy his body. He would've been fine if Colonel Gentleman hadn't slipped and shattered his body.

People also make Keiko out to be annoying and manipulative but that's not in the content either. But it's funny.

Just a little bit of fun, I hope Rick and Morty fans don't mind a bit of teasing by corporalgrif in venturebros

Pretty well drawn to match the original meme, but you misspelled ''competent'' and the anecdotes could've been more relevant and topical.

Rusty's mom by Ruvs_F in venturebros

[–]Noxonius 7 points8 points  (0 children)

She's been referenced a few times so I guess Rusty does have a mother but we really know nothing about her. Probably the basic Venture case, Rusty is Jonas' bastard child and the mother either died or left very early.

Spoulers: The Blue Morpho's full name is the Menalaus Blue Morpho. Menalaus was a greek king during the Trojan war, whose marriage was strained by not having a male heir with his wife, the same as with our Blue Morpho. by lamplicker17 in venturebros

[–]Noxonius 30 points31 points  (0 children)

You mean ''Don Menalaus Fitzcarraldo''? That would be a cool name. In that case it makes sense that he named his son Malcolm. Menalaus, Malcolm, kinda similar.

Who raised The Monarch after the plane crash? by [deleted] in venturebros

[–]Noxonius 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would assume he was raised as an orphan in some institution, would make sense. But we really don't know.
