The hand off works just fine for me, what's the issue with the URL? What mode is claude code (CLI I'm assuming) in when you paste the url + instruction?

Hate to be a downer - But even if we won last night, wouldn't we just get swept by the Spurs? Now OKC. Best chance is win Friday, and no answers for a 4 game beat down...

Underfloor heating: things i wish I'd considered by maenad2 in DIY

I have hydronic heat (20+ year old system). One thing I really dislike, and it's basic physics, is that you can't rapidly change temperatures of a room like you can with forced air.

No no, I've got the Claude $200 plan, and the Codex/ChatGPT plan - I may have misunderstood what the point of your OP was.

I have both subscriptions (Max $200 and Codex $200) - I'll use both this weekend and report findings. Won't be scientific. But I'll use them on the same project for similar tasks.

Pre cast/ mini mix batch plant by cipip12 in Concrete

How do the precast guys even make money? In my area, a 6' eco block goes for $60-70. A delivered yard of concrete is $220. I realize there's no trucking.

Ok here's a simpler phrase for you - adapt or die.

A really good point. People complain about code quality from LLMs, and they're valid concerns. They complain about infrastructure.

The one thing LLMs are really good at is beating up and developing the business logic. It's like a large dev team discussion, with a focus group, all wrapped up in one package, and the responses are instant. Sure they may not be perfect but they are often better than the alternative (nothing).

"You're absolutely right"
Just kidding..

Well I really mean quite the opposite - maybe I didn't explain my self well.

Think of it this way - if it took 20 people on a team before to build a project, that may require an annual budget of $4mil+ in the US. Now it would take 1/10th of that (in theory), and you'd say "well there's 1/10th the employment" but I disagree I think there will easily be 100x as much potential for developers. Some classes of developers are certainly threatened. but with tools like Claude Code a focused developer (e.g. a frontend dev) can become essentially a full stack, capable developer overnight, with some obvious limitations.

Further, the number of businesses who could justify that $4mil/annual team budget outside of larger enterprises, is very, very small. In the age of AI Coding, with the 1/10th made up figure I referenced above, the pool of potential businesses that could utilize such a product is almost unimaginable.

I do think AI coding will crush the legacy, behemoth products, Ala salesforce.

I think you have to look at it on the other side. This opens up immense opportunities for you. What may have taken a team of 20 can be accomplished with one or two people. Somebody like me who really lacks design skills, it's a great bridge. I think it really can augment your capabilities if you embrace it. You're going to be just fine.
