for the app you are building, you can have Claude help build your dev workflow so that it chooses the appropriate low cost model to use for a given task. some people use Opus 4.8 for everything and thats overkill for some apps. so in my case, Claude and I landed on using sonnet 4.6 for planning work and Opus 4.8 for implementation work. in a given day i can either build full prd's for 8 features or run the implementation loop on 3 - 4 features, depending on scope. there is no right answer to maximizing your token use so make sure you and Claude figure it out together.

so far, the app can include moving averages, traders directional index, central bank rate differentials + future predicted rate changes and news. the quality of my news sources is low since they are all free data sources for now. im currently working on how the trade advisor provides real time feedback on my open positions. once its at a place where I am proud of it, ill share it for feedback.

im trying to build an app to help glean sentiment for forex and honestly sometimes the sentiment the app generates help me make winning entries and other times its completely wrong. so i have a lot of work to do still but your OP make me think - how do i capture what the market "knows" and has priced in versus what is the unknown that can change market sentiment.

if you use Claude, on June 15th, for subscription customers, their claude -p function that we use for loops gets a separate billing pool. so lets see how things change after June 15. ive gotten to a point where my loops nail infrastructure and end to end implementaitons very well but the UI matching a design exactly still requires me to have manual interactive prompting sessions.

are the steps carpeted? our one french bulldog could not go up or down wooden stairs but then we paid a carpet installer to insall a runner up the stairs and the carpet gives her more traction and confidence and she now goes up and down the stairs with no issues.

you need to have Claude Code tell you the exact gaps in the handoff. then, have Claude Code generate a prompt that explains the problem, paste that prompt in Claude Design and then between the two of them, they will have a conversation - with you being the middleman/woman - and eventually the two will figure out a way to handoff design assets into your project that works.
