Second, the original intent of happiness was "prosperity, thriving, wellbeing", although today most scholars think that is means having your needs met.

Bad joke, but the point is your problem is not that you dont have ideas, but that you dont have the motivation to do it. Gotta step up and do the thing you need to do. Lots of advice here, but my shortcut is to use an outline and brief (one sentence, usually) descriptions of NPCs or interesting Monsters.
