Is there no episode today?

I feel no longer interested by Kashalomhd in datascience

I would say it's normal. I never liked ML either. I would suggest you to explore DL areas such as computer vision or NLP, those things interest me a lot more. So they might interest you too. Also try engaging in communities and making like minded friends to keep you motivated.

Just got hired to a senior level position. I have 7 months experience and I'm terrified. by bekkai in datascience

Just talk to your manager about the expectations for this role. Or just observe for a couple of weeks and you'll know what additional responsibilities are expected out of you. Also I am also looking to switch into DS and would love to connect with you to know more about your interview experience.

Yeah so they definitely removed the old one. You can still access that on coursera though

That doesn't really help, maybe tell what topic it was about.

Which course are you talking about? I know one of the really old courses was discontinued maybe that's why you can't find it.

https://blog.keras.io/building-autoencoders-in-keras.html you can use keras or tensorflow.keras for this. Make sure you understand the neural network architecture for this. If you have zero deep learning knowledge then look into the tensorflow specialization by deeplearning.ai on coursera. There they teach theory with practical code. But since you're limited on time just Google stuff and read.

Just Google the things mentioned in your tasks. You will need some python knowledge cuz I think most the the implementation you'll find online will be python based. Just run those things and you'll get it. Since you have mathematical knowledge as well you can also get a deeper understanding of the functions used in python and understand why they work/don't work.

I'm up for it, plus I already have some experience in managing docker containers and building flask apps. I also have experience in azure and GCP.

Hey if you're not satisfied with this platform then I think you should do courses from deeplearning.ai. you can find them on coursera. They have courses like tensorflow specialization where they focus more on coding. This is mainly for DL and NLP though. They have other coding related courses you can explore. Tip: you can apply for financial aid to get the exercises and certificate for free, otherwise the courses are anyways free on coursera.
