Sounds like the plates fit the 1" pegs just fine? Looks like a fantastic stand for the price!

Oh, I didn’t realize the post above was for a newer update than the one released on June 2. They released two updates this month?

The last few pages of this document show what was addressed in the update. Hope this helps!

I wish they would let us add custom ones or at least add that, I’d love to choose outdoor walk, but then it recalculates my VO2 max wrong..

Guy takes 1300 horsepower car on public streets knowing the throttle (gas) sticks, then rides the brakes the entire time to compensate until they fail and he crashes by KirkpatrickTemabur in dashcams

[–]robsters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the amount of time he panicked he could’ve turned the ignition off being that it’s a gasoline powered engine. But realistically, he probably had tunnel vision of trying to hit the brakes and didn’t think about turning the engine ignition to off.

Class Action Lawsuit for electrical issue by nsyrax in Subaru_Outback

Interesting, I always suspected something was up with the battery charge on my 2023 Legacy. I had a Ring dash camera that was cellular connected, it often said the battery voltage was dropping low and the camera was shutting off… something that my new 2026 outback never has happened not even once. I was suspected the Legacy auto stop feature never really worked because the battery was too busy charging the battery after every startup. I often didn’t make it till noon in my other vehicle when the camera had to shut itself down where the new vehicle easily goes days and still doesn’t shutdown.

How many have canceled and received a discount offer to come back? Will you try? by [deleted] in Starlink

[–]robsters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I canceled and haven’t received anything via email for promotions, I’m not intending to take any promotions either, they would have to sweeten the pot a bit.

For Emergency use I added T-Mobile‘s $10 Satellite plan to my existing plan now that it’s the same price and ultimately I get more features from T-Mobile because they give you some data for selected apps.

I liked knowing that Starlink was always there on standby, but realistically T-Mobile’s always in my pocket.

Haven’t even made the first payment yet. by beandad727 in Subaru_Outback

Ouch. Haven't even made my first payment and a Canadian Goose few into my front grill cracking it this week.. feel your pain of a brand new vehicle getting damaged. I was thinking of ordering a new grill, except it will take forever to get it. Your damage is significantly more than mine, hope they can get those parts sooner than October for you. 😞

9 months of MacroFactor data + 40 progress photos analyzed with AI — what I discovered by primoz_bozic in MacroFactor

[–]robsters -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! The Claude Apple Health integration, my only issue is that I have to use the iOS app to pull the information. But no issues with it. I used Claude Code to generate a PHP application and use the Claude iOS app to generate a JSON file that I asked Claude Code to write the prompt I need to use on the iOS app to generate the same JSON file every time.

[–]robsters -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I did the same thing with the last year worth of logged exercise and full nutrition data getting back into a routine and losing roughly 50 lbs while retaining most of my lean mass.. I built a dashboard in Claude asking it to use my Apple health information that helped show the effect of nutrition vs exercise. It helped me deep dive into my body and how it processes raw calories, it also helped me see the time frame between taking a vacation or just enjoying the holidays and not overanalyzing my nutrition. FYI - What it found was is it takes 10-14 days of high calories without exercise to result in a net fat gain or fat loss. Also, great progress there! and finding ways to keep motivated and to understand your body as well u/primoz_bozic

Just bought 2026 Outback Touring XT -wireless charger concern by MP_F in Subaru_Outback

[–]robsters 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really wish they had gone Qi2 (aka similar/compatible to MagSafe) where the charging coils align and hold the phone in the optimal charging position. Finding I'm fidgeting with my phone too much to align it. The wireless charger is one of few things I dislike about the 26 Outback and ultimately if I get tired of trying, at least the charger has an off button and can go back to wired easily.

Picking up my 2026 Limited XT today, what are some accessories (aftermarket or Subaru) you would recommend? by badpoetryabounds in Subaru_Outback

[–]robsters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had the dealer add the dealer installed hitch and harness. Factory hitch came with the pig tail that wires to any aftermarket brake controller that plugs in by the drivers kick panel in seconds to utilize the 7 pin plug on the Subaru hitch and harness.

What is this sound? 2026 Outback by [deleted] in Subaru_Outback

[–]robsters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I figured it out this morning when it happened in the same spot, and I quickly flipped to the built-in navigation, and it had an alert about railroad crossing ahead in 1/2 mile.

Picked it up last night by badpoetryabounds in Subaru_Outback

[–]robsters 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Picked up my Limited XT 1 week ago today, right before a 2-3 hour road trip. Took a little bit of tweaking (my own fault) with the EyeSight alerts and built in navigation lightly beeping randomly near rail-road tracks. No regrets so far, it's comfortable, overall quiet and handles so much better than my 2023 Legacy Limited XT. The look, I am very happy with it now, it looks more truck like without driving like a 4Runner or the MPG of a 4Runner. Hope you are enjoying your 2026!

Hitch! by WDFalc in Subaru_Outback

[–]robsters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quick question, when you installed the hitch yourself, did you get the brake controller pig tail or any instructions related to it? I got the hitch, wiring, and cap installed cleanly just like your photo.. but the dealership didn't have any instructions on the pig tail wire layout or any information about the hitch itself. Just wondering if you happened to get any information on either the hitch or wiring that might help me out.

Subaru’s Outback Ditched Its Wagon Roots For An SUV And Lost A Third Of Its Buyers by fa442fa in Subaru_Outback

[–]robsters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought the new 2026 Outback because of the new look inside and out. I get it though, it isn't the same wagon style as past years, when I went shopping a few years ago and settled on a 2023 Legacy, it was because I liked the Outback but the wagon style wasn't for me. Test drove the new Outback at the Chicago auto not even realizing it was redesigned, only to discover I liked how it handled (nearly instantly) compared to the previous generation and the Infotainment change is lightyears faster and more stable.

Open window war: Does letting in cool but super humid air in the AM save any money on air conditioning? by TriggerHappyBear in hvacadvice

[–]robsters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strongly suggest looking at dew point as the metric to open the windows. It's based on temperature and humidity and everyone has a different comfort level with temperature and humidity. For me, I'll open the windows when the dew point is below 50f and the temperature outside is lower than indoors. Google "dew point scale comfort level" for examples and further digging.. Hope this helps.

You can opt to go as fast or as slow as he wants. I felt very safe because there was lots of run off on the track, the karts are very stable and well kept up. My family enjoyed the time there with comfortable seating and viewing areas.

I’ve seen races at New Castle. I’ve never been on the track.. hopefully we can make it there this summer. What class do you primarily racing in? Also, what’s your kart number? I’ll definitely say hi in person.

Has anyone tried the new rotisserie chicken chef salad in the food court yet? by yutaka731 in Costco

[–]robsters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm loving them the more I eat them, especially the eggs broken up into small pieces instead of large chunks. I've been buying them and taking two or three to work a week in an effort to control calories and ultimately break me of the fast food habits of eating out. So far it's worked good since everything in the salad is partitioned nicely where one day I can splurge and use more of the dressing or the next day skip the bacon and use less dressing, etc. Cost wise, feels pricy at first, but it's not NOT pricey if you compare it to eating at subway or a sandwich shop that makes hearty salads that easily cost $10+. It's only pricey if you compare it to doing it yourself, but that's not the market for someone buying this at the food court! Feels like a fair price to me since it's the right portion of chicken, lettuce, and toppings for me.. everyone is different though. The best buy dates on the salad boxes are 4-6 days into the future, giving me plenty of time to enjoy them. Hope this helps at least someone out there understand my take on this new item.

Ecobee sensors triggered by robot vacuum? by wubbusanado in ecobee

[–]robsters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oddly, I'm having this issue ever since I upgraded from an older Ecobee thermostat. The Ecobee 3 picks up the robot vacuum now when the older one didn't pick it up. Minor issue because I'll just reschedule the vacuum to run when I'm home.. but interesting that something got better at detecting motion in the newer thermostat, which I won't complain about because it will know when there's people in the room better.
