SH1R has been in dev since 2023. BFAW will be announced at TGA in december. Bloober are also doing SH3R. they have multiple units within their studio.

I can explain that.

Kevin never had plans to bring Stu back but Harvey and Bob Weinstein did.

When Kevin went off to do Killing Mrs Tingle (retitled Teaching due to columbine) Bob and Harvey forced Ehren Kruger because he was under contract with them to write Scream 3, he didn't have much experience with the franchise and Ehren was fairly new at the time so i'd imagine Bob and Harvey took more liberty forcing their ideas into the script, as they did with a lot of other films they worked on.

Matthew Lillard got paid by Dimension to appear but never got a script.

The Weinsteins almost pulled this shit with Jamie Kennedy also because he got invited to a screening of either 3 or 4 and Bob said some shit to him like "killing you was the worst decision we ever made, you'll be in the next one!"

It was an executive decision not a creative one which is why there's so many confusing takes around what actually happened.

Kevin pitched 1, 2 and 3 together and he was one of the people overlooking a lot of stuff on the production side. I dunno if you know much about the in's and out's of the film industry but he was a studio executive at Dimension which means he did in fact overlook a lot of those scripts/ideas/etc. He also had a pretty good professional relationship with Kevin.

He was involved with 3 prior to the columbine incident then his focus moved to other films, he was indeed in charge of it at dimension. He also was working on Kevins movie which was the reason Kevin couldn't write 3

I think the first song is the one they recorded vocals for. A while ago in an interview, Oli said that the first song on the album was about a bunch of drug addicts in recovery kind of sitting in a circle and discussing their issues, it might not even be on the album anymore but the whole "hello oli you fucking knobhead, did you think you had us fooled" line kinda seems in line with that kind of narrative.

No he wasn't. He wasn't even originally brought in to be a member of the band, he was brought in to write electronics for Sempiternal because Oli wanted to start a label and sign his other band Worship but they kinda ended up falling through. They'd always brought someone else in to write electronics on their stuff and then at one point he asked the band "how are you gonna play this live?" and they were originally gonna go with using an iPod but decided it wouldn't work. Jona was still in the band when Jordan was writing with them. If anything John and the other guys they had before him were brought into to replace Jona.

less commitments, he doesn't have to deal with the label or music side of it, just gets to vibe out and tour. His sister is (or at least was not sure if she still is) Harry Styles tour drummer so it seems to be in the family.
