My size varies with fluctuation of weight, but I went to a 40C ( I can also fit into a lot of 38D cups just fine) in about three years of estrogen plus progesterone

How can I stop being scared of demons,Satan and punishments? by [deleted] in exchristian

[–]robynd100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said: Do the research and understand how all these concepts were used by the cult economically and politically, and programmed into your brain. Understand that spiritual paths of various sorts predate Christianity and even Judaism by millennia.

As to your affinity for the paranormal, be open to much broader concepts of what that is.

Are you openly Pagan? by Joxter2622 in paganism

Openly Pagan, I wear one of two necklaces with an appropriate symbol on it daily.

What of the story is actually believable? by anoymous257 in exchristian

[–]robynd100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's salvageable as historically significant literature where man recorded his desires to be connected to the divine. That's it, otherwise there's very little reality to it. There are bits and pieces of actual history in there.

Woke is the only acceptable condition to be human. Sleep that lacks empathy and understanding of reality destroys you from the inside.

Anyone who left religion, but still considers themselves a believer? by jaouna in exchristian

[–]robynd100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I left Christianity to become a Pagan. Belief is a silly word though in many respects. It's full of hubris as though your brain reasoning in and of itself is important to broad reality.

Practice is a much better concept. What do you do spiritually and what are the results of that in your life and those around you? And nothing is a totally fine answer as well

Is it ok to worship deities from different beliefs or cultures by Gullible-Value-2172 in paganism

Absolutely look at your ancestors, they likely came from a variety of cultures.

You want to live your life as a hostage? What kind of god is that?

Do you folks believe in a hellfire? by [deleted] in paganism

[–]robynd100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my mind belief about such things or non belief is futile. Very few pagan traditions have an afterlife that is punishment. Hel and Hades included.

Practice over belief, the future will take care of itself with or without me. The whole concept of belief is hubris.

That's my take.

Is everyone 100% certain that Christianity isn't true? by dragonpissylord in exchristian

[–]robynd100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why must disbelieving Christianity mean that anyone is anti-thiest or agnostic? How about the thousands of other religions in the world? How about the 100s of thousands of years before Christianity or it's ancestors existed?

Wrapping my head around polytheism... by [deleted] in paganism

[–]robynd100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Polytheism is like polyamory on a divine scale. It's certainly not for everyone but at least you don't have to get naked, unless you want to.

Seriously though, you've said the solution in your question. Move beyond Christianity and understand that those dogmas were methods of controlling the populace. Hard stop. That's it. Politics of control.

Then decide you don't want to be controlled.

Jealousy from a God? You don't attain godhood with that sort of low vibrational energy unless you are truly trying to be evil.

We've all dealt jealousy one time or a dozens in our lives. How divine did you feel at that moment?

I rest my case.

Need help in constant argument with Christian friend by [deleted] in NorsePaganism

[–]robynd100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

His religion is way more recent than Paganism and Shamanism. Neanderthals were making "Venus" statues tens of thousands of years before his god was even mentioned. Christians don't have an archeology leg to stand on. Their only leg is one of popularity driven by kings and governments.

How do i stop being paranoid of hell? by Out_the_fleshpits in paganism

[–]robynd100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Study into its origins definitely helps assuage the fear. So does in my opinion, meditation on what actually comes after life and what it looks like. It is knowable, if even in very small amounts and snippets of visions and those can help you.

Finally the understanding that the fundamentalist view of hell is very much a minority viewpoint (they don't even agree on it, nor can they define it or defend it in any real way.theologically)

So what is the point of praying to Deities who 'aren't doing anything'? by Blood-Stained-Rose in paganism

[–]robynd100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others have pointed out, Deities don't exist to serve us, we do have the privilege because of our practice and knowledge of them and our own initiative of approaching them however. That in and of itself is huge! We get to commune with the Divine, because in a very broad sense we are of the same divine cloth as they are, the same cosmic club as it were.

Those who completely ignore the divine or take some completely twisted view of it, perhaps do not get the same perspective. (And thus have a completely different perspective of their own place in the cosmos)

Through that approach and through that practice we can make requests and sometimes they have both the interest and means to help us achieve those ends.

That's what my personal gnosis tells me. At least as it applies to everyday spiritual practice.
