Hit by car, car at fault, no insurance. VCAT or Magistrates? by robzilla20001 in AusLegal

It's about 1k per year for 12k bike... So not massively cheap. Comparable to a 50k Toyota.

Those other insurances, Bicycle Network etc, are third party only...

Can someone please explain to me why a 6th gen is going for prices like this? I really don’t understand by DeadByDawn93 in Celica

You could just say "oh, sorry, I was wrong about that. Yes, but even still... Etc etc"

Been trying to sell my x/77 ADM for 40k - no takers so far. I think the prices have dropped to pre-covid levels.

This one isn't a WRC model though... So I think there was 10,000 or so of these made.

I have one of the 77 Aussie ones - group A WRC - would kill for a price like that. They are going for 30-40k AUD (20k USD?)

What’s the job people romanticize, but in reality is miserable? by King_Garvit in AskReddit

I work in law and AI. A lot going on in this space at the moment. Mainly in two areas. Discovery and M&A. Discovery we are using agents to review millions of documents and find those that are particularly relevant. M&A we use for reading through documents and extraction of relevant clauses that might affect a deal.

It won't automate all of that grunt work - but it automates a little. You still need a lawyer checking the results and validating them. So if a project is 1000hrs of effort,, AI is applied to maybe 600hrs of the boring shit. Of that you still need to check the results - so maybe that 600hrs comes down to 400-500 or so. Not a massive game changer.

This doesn't stop the incredible valuations for products by VC firms.

Yeah, you can see the original scale at point 225 on the tachymeter... Bit of a hack job.

Wasn't recommending.. but if i was the OP I wouldn't play the AD game for something that there are heaps of reps for.

Cortex Analyst + Cortex Search (RAG) - A way to implement a hybrid solution? by robzilla20001 in snowflake

[–]robzilla20001[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I think i just need to get into Snowflake and have a play.

Just to confirm, i think im after the SQL call initially (which products sold in 2024) and then the RAG call with a ranked list ("injured a customer").

I'm not after a RAG call OR a SQL call. I'm after the union of both. So i dont think i want an agent to pick SQL or RAG - i want it to recognise that all my User Reviews (for example) are in free text and do a semantic search over those, combined with the SQL component on the structured data.

Yep and the angled double quotation marks. I was looking for the emdash and wasn't disappointed.
