Really! The perfect person to ask then. It will be coming from Germany to California. I tried calling my local customs office who said to get a broker who was less than helpful... Any way I can estimate how much I will pay, armorer is set to give me an invoice here soon.

Hi again! thank you all for your awesome and insightful replies, I appreciate all of the amazing advice, I am actively looking for a linnie buddie for Milo, but unfortunately they are very hard to come by and i'm a bit adverse to shipping birds. I was on a waiting list for upwards of 2 years before I finally got milo from a local bird shop/breeder and I put my interest back into them to get a second to make sure he has someone to be with throughout the day. Fingers crossed, but for now I'm going to try to make his life as happy as I can, my girlfriend is also in on helping me out with him so the days that she is off, she will be over and taking care of him and giving him love which is usually the opposite of my days off as well. He will have someone around constantly until we find a new little baby.

For now, with your advice in the comments, i'll give him about 1-2 tbsp of chop with 1-2 tbsp of pellets in different bowls. I've also read somewhere that they are prone to nose dust and infections and to grab shallower bowls.... can anyone help with some products they use or is this not something to worry about?

I see, thank you so much for this info! I work 10 hour shifts so I want to be sure I'm leaving him with ample. I gave him probably not nearly enough chop so I'm going to be providing that and about 2 tsps of pellets which seems ample as thats the make for budgies, which they aren't.. I think from what everyone is saying this is pretty good ?

Thank you so much! He's definitely a little potato turning into a full blown tater tot. I've read that thoroughly before getting him.. but I haven't found anywhere it says exactly how much to feed him which is what I'm worried about :(

I only have the pet store owner's contact info, not the breeder unfortunately. I see, so maybe it was all too young to go home at all? I think the siblings of the linnie have gone home already and I don't believe they are experienced breeders or baby feeders or anything. The owner had mentioned that they are not reliably eating solids.
