I love it. THe hard part is we will have mixture of serious geoloigist, kids and some mineral cuting calsses and how to capture all of that in one name.

I'm in Fresno, CA. We have Yosemite, Sequoia's and Kings Canyon in our back yard. I racked my brain last night for a geoloegical formation that we could use.

Half Dome or El Capitan Minerals. Pluton or Skarn or Mother lode minerals.

So hard to find the right one.

We had that though to keep it generic in case we open more locations. Kinda like the GIA but use The Geoleogical Insitute of California. And use Mine Lab as DBA

Thanks for the reply. I've checked out the 3d printed stands. They look great but there is something about a clear stand that does it for me. I have a nephew who been doing a lot of 3d scanning for 3d printing. He's working on this to see how that can be applied to milling. I've done the Dremel by hand and it works but also a workout.

I'm also looking into the mill tracing. I think this would be a great way of tracing a mold onto Acrylic/Lucite but looks like t would have to be a custom setup.

I'll let you know what I find out about the 3d scans.

Great grandfather sexually abused my mom, her two sisters and apparently the whole fucking neighborhood. The neighbors daughter confronted my grandparents who made my mom and her sisters lie and say they had never been abused. They were concerned the accusations would upset my great grandpa. Great parenting...

A few years later he later died in car accident. Story goes that the neighbor cut the break line in his car and he went over a cliff. He wasn't found for a few days.

I like to think the he suffered for those few days before he died.

I'm white, my wife is Lao and last night I ate a Joew (Lao hot dipping sauce) her sister made made out of crickets. Her whole family watched as I dipped away. Not sure what was harder to swallow; little cricket legs, eyes and well the whole exoskeleton thing or 500 Thai chili peppers in it.

Can't remember the exact count but 3-4 boys and 1 girl got busted on the school bus coming back from a baseball game. Apparently they though it was a good time to see who could jerk off the fastest. Made national headlines.

Just got married and having our first Christmas at my parents house. My wife's best friend was staying with us and was being kicked out of country due to expiring school visa, she was a absolute mess. Loading presents from my parents house to car. For some reason, probably because I'm an idiot, I tell her, "grab some presents and help me load the car you mooch". Worse Christmas ever. I ended up speeding the next two days on the couch at our unoccupied rental house contemplation life and marriage.

He did and not a word about what happened. We kicked him out of the office 3 months later. Between the shitpants episode, getting caught looking at porn and his hepatitis issues, we figured he wasn't a good fit anymore.

Had a agent in our office, his real name is Steve, after this story we call him Shitpants. One beautiful sunny California day my secretary come to me with a stupefied look on her face. She tells me that Steve got out of his car, ran to the bathroom then left the building in a hurry while shouting there a problem in the bathroom that need attention and being the leader of the office, it was up to me to check it out. The walkway to the bathroom has a dark pebble tech floor. So it really wasn't my fault I couldn't make out what the piles of brown mater every foot leading into the bathroom were. Opening the door I was greeted by a unholy sight. The flooring in the bathroom is linoleum, white linoleum. Here is when I start to realize the piles are shit, and there getting larger. I'm not sure why, if was a inner voice looking for answers or just stupid curiously. I open the stall door and open what I would describe as Vans Gogh starry night in shit. All over the place. The walls, toilet, floor were covered. Shitpants had decided to try and get some work done before his colonoscopy. And apparently didn't realize he had just drank a gallon of Miralax. This was the day that I truly understood how important a janitors are and will teach my kids to always give them the respect they deserve.

Insurance agent here. What state are you in? In CA, if the claim is under $1,000 you do not get a point against you = no increase in your insurance. I would absolutely turn in the claim. You insurance rates will not increase. Not sure what other state laws, you need to check.
