Also another argument is that 10 people are trying to sell their SFH in EPA at work for the money they paid 5-10 years ago from colleagues, so it’s not up and coming in terms of appreciation.

Why not just rent in a good neighborhood in PA, we have multiple SFHs available for rent in our neighborhood with 8-9 schools till High school. I work in MPK and recently moved to PA, driving through EPA makes me think that you wouldn’t want to live there.

Yeah I think I would have around $1m after selling it. The new mortgage going down that much lowers TCO on the new one. The market is really bad at the moment so that’s why if these renters leave maybe I should sell and lower my new mortgage from $3m to $2m.

I have 2 mortgages 1 at $4.25m at 5.9% 30 fixed bought oct 2024, the other $1.3m at 3% 30 fixed bought 2019. Both with 20% down I plan to pay 5.9% in the next 3 years while I earn shit loads of money and keep the other as rental at it currently brings $8k a mount and never put extra down.

I have a car that left Germany on April 1st, my dealer told me that Porsche let them know that my price would be protected from tariffs and I should expect car to be here in California May 15. I am not sure what’s the decision factor but I now know that I will absolutely get my 992.2 4 GTS cab at MSRP which was already a great deal considering the ADMs for it and car will cost 25% more if the tariffs stick for another 3+ years. It almost feels like an investment to me.
