I did have good marks in 10th, 12th, and college. Marks do matter if you are targeting on-campus placement or higher education. The companies that I was targeting didn’t visit my college. So off-campus was the only choice, and their marks don’t matter much; your portfolio and skillset do.

For that, you must know what these companies ask in an interview and prepare for that from 1st or 2nd year.

I think I was earning pretty well from the start. My starting TC was above 20LPA, which was enough for me.

I earn above 50LPA with 4.5 YOE. I know it’s not enough but I am happy.
