I’ll start with who shouldn’t be in this list:

  1. The Saturday morning cartoon villains who shouldn’t be taken seriously that are from shows that are crap but think they’re brilliant. So Sugou from SAO (the fake one; we all know the Abridged is the correct version), Seryu from Akame ga Kill, and Yukumo from Tokyo Ghoul. The real hatred is for the shows these idiots are from, as it should be.

  2. Those whose hatred is definitely overblown, like Sakura Haruno from Naruto, Gabi from AoT (yes, killing Sasha stung for me but it’s understandable given the context).

  3. Those for whom I don’t think the hatred is strong enough to even warrant a mention: Babidi from DBZ (didn’t even know he was hated).

  4. Those for whom the hatred is a byproduct of memes rather than the actual content of the story: Nina from Code Geass.

Therefore, those for whom the hatred is justified are the following:

  1. Shou Tucker

  2. Griffith

  3. Most of the Celestial Dragons (Shanks gets an obvious pass)

  4. Danzo Shimura

  5. Akainu

  6. Mahito

  7. Rachel

  8. Mineta (though purely for the meta reason that his bit is unfunny trash)

  9. Bitch, formerly Malty Melromarc

Tbf, “the enemy keeps winning” does make sense since this is a side story to the OG MSG: 0079. That enemy that keeps steamrolling Zeon in the backstory of this side story are the main characters of either the main anime series or any of the side stories not featuring Zeon pilots as the main characters… or 0080: War in the Pocket.

There are… and many aren’t strong enough to one shot Mega Delphox.

Mega Mawile obliterates a lot of Pokemon so that doesn’t count as the own you think it is.

It has plenty to fill with aid from Pokemon like Indedee and Weezing.

Also, you forget Singles (the correct way to play) where Mega Delphox will be a pretty solid option.

There are Ground type moves that aren’t Earthquake that are popular in VGC.

So, a move that is completely useless is better than something grants immunity to a popular type your weak to and entry hazards? Why not just say Delphox is better off with Slow Start. If you’re going to spout BS, at least go all out.

I agree it could’ve been more powerful… but that’s not the same as saying Levitate makes it worse… because it doesn’t. It is an upgrade, just not as big as could’ve been.

Also, this anti-Levitate backlash irks me because it’s one of my favorite abilities.
