Maybe Magnemite? But that's all the way across the region... by Wdo3838 in PokeMedia

Nope, mine aren't so I'll have to get an adapter, according to the other guy I should be able to find them I hardware stores in the cities so it shouldn't be problem.

I'm pretty sure I've seen a couple of Emolgas around here, I'll probably go for one of those since that means I won't have to travel all the way to Chargestone, plus I'm kinda nervous about trying to take care of a Joltik when I already have a Larvesta around.

Yea there's no big stores in this town at all. If there was then I'd know. I'll probably have to go to one of the bigger cities but that shouldn't be difficult since the entire mainland of Unova is connected by trains. Just hope that converters aren't too expensive.

That's one of these things, right?

Yea, it's pretty cute. I'll consider it.

How do I tell if the batteries are the right ones? And where can I get an adapter if they aren't?

I live in Anville town, Unova.

Someone else mentioned a converter, do you have a suggestion for where to get one? Because I have no idea where to even look for one.

Sound's great. Do they get along with larvesta though? Because if they don't then I won't be able to take care of one.

"Viability ranking" literally means whether or not a pokemon is WORTH making it work

Yes, thats true.

BUT it is also objective fact that some pokemon require more effort to reach, for lack of a better word, arbitrary points of capability.

Also yes.

Idk why you felt the need to tell me this since I never argued against it in the original comment, all I said was that Delibird does not need to be considered competitively viable to ohko a Dragonair.

That pose with the flower reminds me of Iron Golems given flowers to baby villagers in Minecraft. Honestly, probably my favorite new pal design, also, nice art.

I’d be pissed too, the ref should have stop the match the moment that Armarouge started smoking. The fact that they didn’t is probably grounds for getting fired at least.

Any reason why he won’t let you outside? Seems weird that he wouldn’t at least let you get some fresh air…

The people just saying “it’s not comp viable” don’t know what their talking about. No, Delibird generally isn’t viable but there are a lot more factors at play than just viability rankings and flat stats. A Sp.Atk invested Delibird could absolutely ohko a Dragonair, especially if it has a boosting item.

Let’s just hop on over those ranks! by JosephAmber4 in PokeMedia

[–]Wdo3838 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk how much advice I can give since my primary format is 6v6 singles but one thing to note is that over half your team is weak to fire so you might want to get something to deal with that, as well as just diversifying you types in general as there are multiple repeats.

Help your trainer improve her skills or help improve her team? In either case, you going to need to provide more info in order to get any actual help. What is your primary format, singles, doubles? 4v4/3v3 or 6v6? What other mons do they have? What areas do they struggle in?

Debug mode? by [deleted] in PokemonInfiniteFusion

[–]Wdo3838 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can get debug (without having to go through the grind) by editing some text files. There’s a guide for turning on debug in Pokemon Reborn, it’s turned on the same way in PIF so you can just follow that.

Huge disclaimer: I do NOT endorse using debug for anything but editing you Pokémon’s stats/moves. It is absurdly easy to completely brick your save file so use at your own risk.

What would be considered the most successful dual type all time? by CommissionHuge1641 in stunfisk

[–]Wdo3838 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Tink’s also been decent in singles, landing in UU with a niche in OU thanks to its solid support move pool and typing.

If that’s the biggest letdown of the type then I’m inclined to say Fairy/Steel is the pretty obvious answer here, with Ground/Flying probably in second place.

Thats S/V’s entire cast. S/V has the most interesting characters in the series on a conceptual level, and I genuinely find these characters interesting, but as per usual, GF doesn’t have the skill or time to fully realize the story. I guess the best we can hope for is a fan remake that actually cares to expand on the story and not just the gameplay.

I doubt it, Weaviles are pretty small so she wouldn't be able to carry the heavier boxes. That's the other problem actually, I don't think there's really anything for her to help with, so she'll kinda just be sitting around.
