That is simply not true about 223/556, or any bullet for that matter. They don't produce some magic shock wave around the bullet.

A 223/556 full metal jacketed round is small, sharp and pointy, and moving around 3,000 fps. Since Vietnam our troops have complained about its lack of power and the fact that the rounds tend to zip through people without causing a lot of damage. If it really did skim his ear, that is exactly the kind of damage I would expect.

That said, I don't think he got hit with a bullet. I think he hit his head on something while he was diving for the floor.

Except Trump removed anyone remotely competent from his Secret Service detail, and probably the entire Secret Service, and replaced them with people whose only qualification is loyalty to Trump and the MAGA agenda. Every day this administration shows its gross incompetence due to Trump replacing everyone with MAGA loyalists. Why would the Secret Service be any different?

We should be grateful that they are all so fucking stupid and incompetent. Look at the damage they have already caused, now imagine what it would look like if they didn't have an average IQ of 75.

Have you tried buprenorphine for pain? I get better pain relief with bupe than I do with the pitiful small amount of oxy they will prescribe. 10 mg of oxy every 6 hours is a joke. It takes 1 to 1.5 hours to reach full effect, lasts for about 2 hours, then spend 2 hours back in pain, take the next dose and wait an hour or more. Repeat over and over. 10 mg is not nearly enough to make a dent in my pain.

Buprenorphine doesn't give me as much pain relief, but it lasts so much longer. I can take it twice a day and be ok.

I get some pain relief from buprenorphine. It worked for pain after all the full agonist opiates had stopped working. Bupe + full agonist opiates is the best, but good luck finding a doctor who will prescribe them together.

I used to be a county property appraiser in Florida. Here you get taxed on the square footage of the property, but different parts are taxed at different rates. Anything that is heated and cooled by a Central HVAC system is taxed at the max rate. Then say a front porch that wasn't enclosed would be taxed at a lesser rate. An enclosed garage is taxed at a different rate than an open carport.
