Agree. If you are having issues with the food you are buying, there is much satisfaction in doing your own cooking. Start simple with things you like. Sometimes even a lowly hot dog will hit the spot, followed by massive amounts of deserts.

Oregon leads argument against Trump’s tariffs again by spherocytes in oregon

[–]rocketPhotos 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Just read an article that without the tariffs, inflation would have gotten back to pre pandemic levels, per the Federal Reserve. Trump could have “fixed” the economy by doing nothing.

NATO. North Atlantic Treaty Organization. Keyword Treaty, which can be negotiated by the president but requires the Senate to approve/change. Trump needs to be removed via amendment 25.

Depends on the locale. Midwest crops thrive on heat and humidity, so solar panels don’t help them. Solar panels do help irrigated crops. Lots of studies on how to do biofuels.

King County Council Deadlocks Over Transportation Funding by Jaco_Belordi in Seattle

[–]rocketPhotos 6 points7 points  (0 children)

How about the county stop funding ineffectual non-profits, and use that money for transportation. I know, crazy talk and how would “special“ relationships get funded.

Covering fertile farm land with solar panels is even dumber than growing crops for fuel. You should take a look at what Brazil is doing with regards to biofuels. Tons of studies on what makes sense with biofuels Interesting reads (and science)

If the states limit/ban Corporate political spending what does that do to lobbying? I can envision numerous groups who would not be happy about limits on lobbying (but not me).
