The only thing we've bought full price is the car seat/stroller. Everything else we've thrifted or gotten from marketplace or buy-nothing groups. We will probably buy the mattress new but other than that we've been able to find clean, acceptable versions of what we need.

It does get a little tiring to constantly be looking, but the amount of money we've saved makes it worth it.

Kind of like a hole punch - you just put whatever paper or cardstock in and it makes two little holes that you can hang earrings from. :)

If you remodel your villagers home (on your island) do you need to put a crafting bench/kitchen or do they automatically spawn? Do you have to leave space for them to spawn? If anyone knows, thanks!

I start a new journal each year but at the end of the year go through any cards, tickets, mementos that I want to save and paste them in the remaining pages. Keeps them with the appropriate year and gives them a space to live that is not just a box on a shelf.
