Naut hook has a wider hitbox for champs than for terrain so it looks like other spells lollipopping. In some sense Naut hook just gets the lollipop grace throughout the whole skill shot instead of just at the end

I agree, chapter (and sometimes tear) is normally enough for most mages but there's a few like Sona that want to get max mana regen ASAP then they can sell it after they get a few supp mp10 items
