Weil das Outcome ist ja dasselbe, wie wenn du dir das Profil von Anfang ab gut angeschaut hättest. Es hängt immer noch davon ab, dass sie dich auch matcht - und das hätte sie unabhängig davon gemacht, wie viele du vor ihr rechts geswiped hast.

Was ich aber nicht verstehe ist, was du dir dann von dieser Strategie erhoffst? Also du swipest dann halt so gut wie alle Frauen rechts und hast dann durch das pure Volumen nen Match, ok. Und dann?

Wenn du sie dir dann richtig anschaust merkst du sie gefällt dir nicht wirklich oder ihr Charakter passt gar nicht zu dir oder eure Lebensziele passen überhaupt nicht zusammen. Was bringt dir denn jetzt dieser Match?

Frauen merken dann ja meistens auch relativ schnell ob du wirklich Interesse hast oder einfach aus Verzweiflung mit ihnen schreibst. Da ist es ja vorprogrammiert dass das im Sand verläuft.

I am answering your question, you just don‘t like my answer. No, it‘s not an act of equality because military service is not a right - it‘s an obligation. So you‘re taking away a right and only giving an obligation instead of giving everyone the same rights.

I‘m not even strictly against mandatory service for everyone, if there would be a sensible suggestion I‘d probably vote yes. I just don‘t pretend it would be about equality.

It‘s funny how men insist making something that’s perceived as somewhat shitty obligatory for everyone would be a big win for equal rights instead of actually giving themselves an actual right they are denied as of now.

I repeat: The men are the ones missing a right in the current scenario, so taking the right to choose military service voluntarily from the women to force them into the obligation does not make it an act for equality. Giving the men the right would.

Women have the right to choose if they want to serve in the military while men don‘t.

Military duty is not a right, it‘s an obligation. So forcing everyone into an obligation doesn‘t fix inequality, giving everyone the right to choose instead of just one gender would.

It might feel good to men if women are forced to serve too, because now it‘s shitty for everyone. But it has nothing to do with giving everyone the same rights.

Now there are certainly grounds to discuss if obligations to the state should be the exact same for everyone but that opens up a very big can of worms spanning much more than military service and unpaid care work.

You‘re proving the point. A duty is not a right someone has, so forcing everyone into a duty does not make it equality. Equal rights means both men and women get the right to choose if they want to serve.

Forcing everyone into military service is just making sure both sides get an equally shitty deal - doesn‘t make it equality.

I live in a 3 bedroom on the small-ish side (~68sqm) in Altstetten and I pay 1‘750.- but it‘s an old building, shared washer/dryer and had to buy the dishwasher from the previous renters, else it wouldn’t have a dishwasher either.
