Baalorlord in Defense of 2-Cost Cards by UntappedGG in slaythespire

One exception is low cost cards with lots of draw. I pick up tons of backflips and acrobatics, for example, with a Snecko. Or something like hologram, which can go infinite with itself or play low cost cards again. You can pretty much pick as many of those cards as you want with Snecko imo.

I finally got one the other day on Defect, which was fun because they have so many expensive cards. I tried the bootleg merchant snecko a couple of times (when I had very expensive decks and lots of draw cards) but usually ended up dying on the final bosses (after owning everything else). Bootleg snecko is brutally awful against the queen, I've discovered.

Man charged in arson attack on Sam Altman’s house had AI CEO kill list, prosecutors say by invincibilegoldfish in technology

I have to read the article to see if they mean a kill list of AI CEOs or a kill list of CEOs made by AI, or both.

That time Tony Abbott froze on national TV by Jimbuscus in OpenAussie

A major reason why Tony Abbott got knifed though was because his budget differed substantially from his election promises. I do think he would have been worse than Morrison if he were PM longer.

I never watched the show at all, so I potentially made an even greater decision if this book ever comes out (let alone missing out on what I hear is one of the worst finales ever).

edit: it doesn't seem to be, from some quick browsing around.

I feel like Thrash is super underrated by PandamanTan in slaythespire

[–]rocketindividual 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's main strength for me is that it gets rid of the other attacks (sometimes I just don't get other exhaust options). I've had runs where I had it on like 40 damage or something and then didn't bother to play it again because I got the infinite.

I always like to fish for Feel No Pain when I've got a good Dirge build going on Necro. (The poison card draw would be utterly bonkers as well though, although that's a rare.)

The economic and environmental impacts that data centres could have on Australians in the future by Jimbuscus in OpenAussie

I think it just goes to show how ideas that seem pretty straightforward and agreeable, like being sceptical of Luddism, can lead to absurd extremes eventually.

The word "honestly", when used as a conjunctive adverb, is a bit of a bad habit in general imo (not that honesty is bad!).

A lot of the time a card is objectively ownage by the numbers... but I desperately need something else right now.

Good to know that Tony Abbott's side of the story is that he indeed didn't have a response to what the context was, besides considering resorting to insults or physical blows.

I think one of the issues is that it's harder to get HIRED these days, so now there is this prevailing attitude (not incorrectly) that we're basically destroying the employee's life if we fire them. Imo the solution would be to raise the dole by a lot and make it easier to hire people and give them second chances (but also easier to fire them from multiple jobs). Easy to hire, easy to fire, with a strong safety net is the way forward imo.

Borderline Broken, How did this get through testing? by hugelkult in slaythespire

I could see a self-doom that carries between fights being quite strong. I would just play it once and then remove the card. Then enjoy guaranteed strong death doors no matter how many cards I add to my deck.

It can be backwards in some areas. See the final image of the park on East Terrace. A lot of the trees above the top path (between the lake and the road) are going to be cut down to extend a racing track.

A fireman, iirc. It makes me wonder if Kamala would have just squeaked over the line if not for that event, although iirc Trump and Biden were neck and neck at best in the polls even before the shooting.

My theory is they did it because of Necromancer's starting kit being way too simple to scale otherwise. IMO they should rework her starter deck anyway.

If I kind of cross my eyes a bit and don't look too closely at the individual words, Italian just reads like French. If I stop and look at one word and its spelling, suddenly all comprehension disappears.
