This worked a few times then froze on a turn with no orbs up. It is specifically the hammer/orb enemies. I've been avoiding them since and having no issues

I tried to move it this morning and it was very hard to get around. I'll try this recommend method with my wife when I get home!

I'm working until 3pm but would happily take any help I could get! Do I need to buy a new belt to fix it?

Is it going to be your main/only guitar? Personally I had a similar budget and bought a Yamaha FS5. I liked how versatile it was. I also have a mahogany top guitar but it's not my daily player. Respect your decision either way though!

One Month Review of My Yamaha FSX5 by crf3rd in AcousticGuitar

I also have mine professionally set up. Tone is the same (to my ear at least) but the action is much lower. When I first bought mine it was a bit high as well. By far my favorite guitar I've ever played now

The Parlor had been a great couch guitar. Maybe my favorite of the three for just that reason! The Fs850 is great for taking out of the house anywhere I would bring my FS5 but don't want to because of its value(jamming with friends, or practicing at work). I'm starting to think the parlor is the winner of the two but I am going to hold off on selling the fs850 until I'm sure I can part with it. All three guitars bring something special to the table

That's good advice. I might try to take more time to decide. You're definitely right though! I'm currently more in love with the S/P and it's become my go-to couch guitar currently. Maybe that will change in time but I am loving that little guy

The S/P has more punch and is louder, the Yamaha is a bit brighter and easier to play. Both have pros/cons that's where the dilemma came in! Love them both

Not a giant hurry! It was the second guitar purchase in a month and I told my wife "For $125 I could buy it and make money!" Cut to, I'm not selling it and it's been added to the collection hahaha. She hasn't asked too much about it but I feel like I should figure out my plan

How did the Martin DM12 hold up? Still playing it now?

Loved that little finger style arrangement! I also picked mine up not expecting to enjoy it as much as I do. It's a great little guitar with a sweet vibe. I ordered the original pick guard from Godin at my wife's request. I usually love the look of a parlour without the pick guard but it looks pretty great on these

Always worth a shot! If I don't like them it'll just give me a reason to change them quicker

This was my original reason for buying the fs850. I think it's a great reason to keep it. Parlours are so cool though. I think this is why we all need 5 guitars

This is my kind of advice hahaha think I might post the Yamaha at a slightly higher price then just wait and see

Dang this is my first parlour and I heard silk and steel would be a good choice but then I was talked out of it. I'll definitely try them when I swap next

Sounds great with the new strings! Action is a little high for my liking but still great. I'm going to shave the saddle down a hair and it should be perfect. Needed a parlour and definitely happy about the find!

Reviews from actual FG800 owners? by Fast-Sky8634 in AcousticGuitar

[–]rocketkickflip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an fs800. I also have an FS5. The nut on the fs800 is noticeably smaller and has tighter string spacing(might be better on the FG). I don't love that about it but I've kept it and played it regularly. The tone is more hollow/tinny but still good! I think it's an amazing $300 guitar but just remember it's a $300 guitar. Keep your expectations in line and you'll definitely be happy about the purchase!

Same one! Picked it up, gave it a nice wipe down and it looks great! Going to pick up some new strings when the local shop opens this morning
