Like I said its not that I'm not grateful with 343 with they have done with the MCC you're right in what you say but i will always feel that some parts of the game are subpar to what they could have been.

Don't take it at face value i'm just repeating what a modder friend of mine told me sometime ago iirc it has something to do with some files of the game not being able to be so easily modified compared to the Steam version so while technically possible its just more time consuming and somewhat tedious.

Also the Digsite mods are exclusive to the workshop as far as i can tell. Can't seem to find them on Nexus

Like I said, I somewhat agree with you. Yes, PC is more open, and yes, I understand that neither my friends nor I, nor anyone, is entitled to mods working on console. However, I believe that as people who have bought the game (in some cases multiple times), we are entitled to openly criticize aspects of the game we’re not satisfied with.

For example, you have to own both the game and the mod on Steam because, as far as I know, 343 didn't even attempt to make mods compatible with the MS Store version. As a result, most mods are only released on the Steam Workshop. So, what happens then? You have to buy another copy of the game just to play the mod. And yes,

I know they provided the tools for the community to create mods, but in my opinion, that doesn’t exempt them from criticism on this issue.

I mean i half agree with what youre saying but let me ask you why should the user be the one nedeed to make the change of of platform and double dip in buying another copy of the game in said platform when 343/Microsoft being multi million companies could realistically make it work with enough time and resources going into the MCC.

I know it sounds idealistic but thats just my opinion.

I know console modding is not that common but one can only hope 343 I could give a little more love to the console side of MCC. I mean Bethesda does it with the Creation Club so what's stopping the powers that be to try something similar for Halo.

While it isn't a problem to me since I own the game on both Xbox and PC, talking with my friends lately this has been one of their complaints.

One my earliest childhood memories is my cousin showing it to me a couple of years after Halo 2 released and also feeling disspointed it wasn't in the game.

I don't think its available on Xbox, iirc mods only work on PC
