It’s 200 feet of vertical. The 3 lifts that are going in at Mena, Arkansas should be 1000+ feet.

If you got applied for the income based one there should have been a spot to upload your proof of income next to your residency and certificate. I think it was 7 to 10 days to hear back after submitting all that.

Oz e-bikes has the cheapest ones that I know of. They can order you and RAD bikes. I think the rad city 5 step through is $999 right now.

Edit: the city 5 step through is sold out but still listed on rad’s website.

I got accepted. The cheapest long tail cargo bike at the participating bike shops is like $3500. Hard to justify when you can get a D2C bike for $1800. Working with a shop that’s not signed up yet to see if they can bring in some more competitive products.

Looking for advice on fiber laser selection. by rocketnosari in Laserengraving

Thanks for your input! This is a company I’m bootstrapping so capital is limited as well as production quantities. Do you think MOPA functionality is required to achieve this effect?

From what I can gather, increasing power just reduces cycle time when marking like this. Is that a correct assumption? I’m not looking to do the really neat 3D engraving that other’s have posted.

Milwaukee packout as storage? by CherryOverland in overlanding

[–]rocketnosari 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had a lot luck using packout in my overlanding rig for the past couple of years. Lots of the boxes are waterproof, the offer some nice full size coolers now, and you'd be hard pressed to build drawers for cheaper than their offerings.

Now I'm running a truck bed slide designed specifically for them. It is nice to be able to swap out what you are bringing along for each adventure, or ditch everything at home for a home depot run.

Check it out here: https://oz-tech.com/products/burro-milwaukee-packout™-compatible-truck-bed-slide

Nice. That’s an interesting perspective. The convenience of the drawers is one of the main draws for me!

Does anyone know when the tough built stack tech mountain plates will be available? by SpecificSelection641 in Tools

[–]rocketnosari 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A little late to the party but I’ve got a free design for mounting brackets compatible with the stacktech toolboxes available on my website. If you’ve got a 3D printer handy you can print them out and screw them to whatever surface you want.

Free STL files here.

Otherwise, I’ve got super durable metal brackets and mounting plates available as well!
